When you prayer for others at length, do you need to cut free after you are done, or can you simply stop praying and continue on. Is cutting free from your ministry for others necessary, or just a ritual? I prayed for others but was interrupted and stopped without cutting free and feel anxious now. I don't see why it matters whether you cut free or not as long as you've prayed for them but who knows. Thoughts?

It's like anything. Where is your faith? In the realm of intercession, as anything in the heavenlies, things travel at the speed of thought. If you believe you can just stop, you are fine. If you believe you need a ritual of cutting free, you will need it. My experience is just pray, and let God tell you what you need to do. That way, you learn from Him instead of from someone else, who might not have your level of faith.
