This has only happened one other time...when I actually heard God speak to me. The first time about 6 years ago involving infertility issues. The other night, it happened again...Basically God said, "October 15th". But with those two words came the knowledge that that date is the day I will die. Of course, I'm a little freaked out about that. I'm relatively young, healthy and I have a young child. I would love someone to tell me that this meant something else...or something. This message felt like a warning...like God was saying..."see you don't have a lot of time left..."
Opinions please...

The Lord would not tell you this. yes he does speak to us , but we have to discern what is from him and what is not.
Every good gift from the Lord is first peaceable, easy to be entreated and comes down from the Father of light

Fear does not come from God. My life experience says that God chooses the year or month by how your genes are set, and you can choose the day and the hour. There are too many people who "hang on" until cousin-whoever gets there from around the world someplace.

Even if God did say this, maybe it's Oct. 15, 2070.

I agree with the other posts, God is not a god of fear. However even if if it was from god which i doubt, I believe if he were to tell us when we would die it would not be a death we fear. But rather are happy because we can finally go home, or it could be a death because we stood firm in our faith. The only death i want is a death that brings great honor and glory to god, i refuse to accept anything less

Why are you so certain it is a message of the day you'll die? As another member said it could be Oct. 15, 2070. It could also be the day a great blessing comes to pass, the day you discover a true calling, a day to be aware who and where you are. Anything.

Or, and I don't mean to knock your beliefs, it could have been a dream of sorts and that's the only p-art you remember because it's relatively tangible. Just another option. But I don't believe God would ever reveal the date of ones death. He's all good, all loving, all just.

Well, I for one hope it was something that brings you great peace and joy and that you do not fear. But hey, if you get there soon, could you put in a good word for me? ;)

Peace and blessings to you, Elsie. Please don't worry.

When God speaks, He never brings fear or worry. His word always bring hope and comfort... well not always, but most of the time.

The bible says we have to test the spirits. That means not accepting every word spoken to us by a spirit. I believe you heard a demon. It is trying to get you to believe that on that date, you will die. Once you believe it, the demon may have the legal right to kill you on the day.

My advice for you is to pray this prayer:

"Lord Jesus, I repent for not testing the spirits as commanded by the bible. I repent for believeing this lie from the enemy and for fear and worry. Please forgive me, in Jesus name, Amen.

Then say: "All demons that have lost their legal rights, I command you to leave me now and go where ever Jesus sends you and I bind you there with the blood of Jesus, in Jesus name."

Maybe the date isn't your date, maybe it was told so that you would post and someone else would see it and know exactly what it ment. I don't think God would tell you your death date.
