What do you think of Jesse Duplantis' Heaven Testamony

If you have not heard, quite a while ago Jesse Duplantis claimed to have been to heaven and met Jesus and the Father, he went into many wondrous and even at times unbelievable encounters, the video is quite long but he does not make any claims that contradict the bible, the overall message was that Jesus was coming soon.

I believe what he claimed. At first a lot of what he said was at times farcical to me , to be honest heaven is an unimaginable place a world void of evil, my sister mentioned a part in the bible which i can't recall that no one can visit heaven before they die and perhaps it was a vision, but i feel his story was very interesting and hopeful to all. It makes me very uneasy and upset at the thought of listening to someone who creates fictitious stories and I while I will never know someone and their motives truly I discern their character by what they preach which I always hope is love and faith in God and the new testament. I have always enjoyed his sermons and in my opinion he always preaches love and the truth.

I would like to know your thoughts on him and his testimony and what it means to you.

Love his testimony. I own the video of his whole testimony... He seems to be a genuine man of God , no sugar coating preaching and hilarious. I also beleive his testimony is aligned with the bible which I like cause God never goes against His word. Heard many other testimonies and there's always that double law God uses to show us it's from God and his testimony is in that double law with other testimonies. He expresses his senses and what he felt to the pin point detail and I know when I have a supernatural experience and try to explain it to an unbeliever I try to cover every detail of my experience. So that's what makes me beleive it true. I've heard some very phony stuff before too... But Gods sheep know Gods voice." My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me. John 10:27 so through faith too.

I used to listen to him. More for his humor, than his messages. I was always bothered by his teachings, his over the top ways of 'talking' to God. I've yet to hear a man with more elaborate stories of talking with God than this man.
Unfortunately he is tied into the Word of Faith teachings. Which i do not take as Christian teachings. I won't go near him anymore.

I also do not buy into peoples stories of visiting heaven or hell. There is little to nothing to gain by believing this, but there is great risk.

Also, you would likely be surprised at the number of these 'preachers' that make things up.

Yes I agree with you. he is really funny and what he says I can really relate to, and it is really encouraging. I felt his testimony went into details that most people would not even think of like he was saying in heaven there are no shadows, because there is no darkness. His story gave me more of an image of heaven and more motivation in my walk with Jesus.



BTW where did you get the whole testimony I've looked everywhere for it and I can't find it.

It's interesting what you say and guess we will have to disagree because I truly believe his words and I feel, what he preaches is true to the bible teachings. I am very naive at times and even the thought of a false preacher I wonder who in this world would do such a thing, but it happens, I just feel in my heart what is right and what is wrong, I take advice from preachers as help and support but I only follow Jesus.

I also disagree but I understand cause we all have different walks of life. Some people are more spiritually sensitive than others and we are all unique. So I don't think you're wrong. Personally I'm very spiritually sensitive and I feel spiritual things very real. It's hard for me many times to explain this because people won't believe unless they see. But we also don't see Jesus and we believe through faith...if its all glorifying God I'm all for it.

I was blessed to find it in my moms house. She isn't christian she's catholic and a Christian friend gifted it to her. She wouldn't see it cause she won't beleive anything Christian. So curiously I picked it up and was blessed Lol.... I beleive you can get it through amazon it's called "Heaven:Close Encounters of the God Kind"

Catholic is Christian but she doesn't have a personal relationship is what I mean. It's all repetition and religion.

Am not really familiar with his stuff. I saw a video he did once on jealousy. It was really good. But that was about my only encounter with him
