This is a tutorial to turn off all the sound in your chatbox or lower the sounds. This is NOT an option in the chatbox. This is an alternative way for people who wants to hear other sounds like music or so.

This tutorial is only for people who have Vista installed! I am not sure how this work in lower versions of windows or operation systems like Linux or MacOS.

Step 1:

This step displays that we do not wish to hear any more sound! :D

Step 2:

Go to the bottom of your screen totally to the right. There you can see a small button which means the sound. In the picture i put a red circle around it. Now click on that icon once!

Step 3:

Now this new window should appear. You will now see some applications which are running. I have a dutch language installed, but Toepassingen means Applications. As you can see there is a slide for my firefox browser some of you have internet explorer, but it should display something with Christian Chat. As you can see i circled my Christian Chat red.

Step 4a:

This step is simple. I circled the button you should click in order to stop the sounds of everything within Christian Chat. You should also click this button to turn off the sound.

Step 4b:

You can also lower the slide so you hear less sound instead of removing all the sound of Christian Chat.

hmm very nice .. thats very helpful conquer.

and at least there's a good thing with vista hahaha

anyways if you're using XP or windows 2000/98/ and other previous versions.

you try the software -> FlashMute
Use it exactly just like Conquer's tutorial with vista.

But you must download the software first, and install it on your computer since, it's not built in
then just run the program and it will be like what you see up there!!

(it only mutes the flash applications on your browser)
