PROVERBS 24 verse 17 - Rejoice not when thine enemy falleth, and let not thine heart be glad when he stumbleth. I know Rick Warren is an extremely apostate wolf in sheeps clothing..... but this verse came to mind. He right now is an enemy of THE LORD JESUS, I pray that this will cause him to repent and be saved. The following verse PROVERBS 24 verse 18 though continues, Lest the LORD see it, and it displeas him, and he turn away his wrath from him.

ISAIAH 57 verses 18 to 21 - I have seen his ways, and will heal him. I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners - I create the fruit of the lips, Peace, peace unto him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith the LORD, and I will heal him - But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt - There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.

It is so desperately sad that their child is dead. Their precious boy. Our hearts should grieve. Rick Warren may have some interpretations of belief that are not the same as ours but his son is dead...where is our compassion? and...if Rick Warren believes in Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who died on the cross, shed His blood for his sins? then no matter what else he thinks...Rick Warren is indeed saved. This is not the time to doubt that. God Bless you, be gentle in His name. <><

Anyone able to elucidate what the problem is with his walk? I've only heard him a few times over the radio. This is the first I've heard of him being "lost".

Folks, every church (especially the prominent ones) leader will have detractors. I suggest you find credible info on EACH side and then decide for yourself. Some people (even Christians) will write off leaders and churches that are successful for reasons that are not Biblical. This includes taking what your pastor(s) says with a grain of salt. Pastors are human and are therefore biased.

I just wish we spent more time working together taking care of God's people and making God smile.

I believe Satan dances when Christian churches and Christians spend time splitting hairs which always divides us further.

How was that? I just finished Hope (Greg Laurie) and Jesus Among Other Gods (Ravi Zacharias). Currently reading something from Charles Swindoll, and I'm looking for something else to read after I"m done with that and Why Jesus (Dr. Z again).

I think it is absolutely wrong to condemn other Christians who are saved by Christ because they understand a spiritual precept differently. If they look to Christ for forgiveness, if they have received the Holy Spirit, then they are your brothers and sisters, we are not to judge them. We can judge their understanding on one point as wrong in our eyes, but to put a label on them and identify them with our labeling is not a good thing to do. We cut ourselves off from allowing Jesus to forgive our misunderstandings and sin as we won't give that to others. At the very least.

Warren believes in Christ and takes his sins to Christ for forgiveness. It is your labeling because you find an error in him that is wrong. Besides, you cut yourselves off from the spiritual understanding he does have you could learn from. We are to listen and have sympathy with our brothers and sisters, but be able to check what we learn with God, for God is truth man isn't. We are to judge truth, not man, or even our isms.

He is a member of the C.F.R, Rupert Murdoch is a member of his church. The man is a wolf, and preaches a false gospel ( GALATIONS chapter 1 verses 6 to 9 ) may GOD save him.

yeah, its true. Sad but alot of pastors are nothing but hirelings with no love for the sheep. His church is a 501c3 for profit coporation, again people like Rupert Murdoch ( worlds largest porn supplier / owns FOX etc. ) Im glad you researched and found the truth. I can reccomend some movies exposing Rick Warren or some free audios if you would like. Praise JESUS, now you know hes apostate.

It was good. It's been a few years since I've read it, but it did help me focus on my walk with God.

Lol yes, although it's from a later installment: Castlevania - Lament of Innocence.

I'll be praying for Rick.
