click chat room's and forums then above the chat rooms you will see Avatar, this will change your forum picture and you will see others too. Profile I believe can change your profile picture. And to post a picture in a forum on the top right of quick reply you see a two globes a box and railroad tracks... the box is for pictures and rail road tracks are for video's.

Wow, that was a quick jumbled mess of an answer, haha. I know how to do it all and that confused me =P

There are 4 places for pics, so it depends on which one you mean.
Avatars - These are the pics you see under peoples names in the forums, or chat room PM's.
Profile - These are the pics you see on a persons profile, in the top left.
Posts - Posting a picture in a post in the forums
Albums - Creating 'photo albums' on your profile.

So it could vary which one you mean. I'm assuming you mean Avatar, so i'll explain that one. Go to the top of the page. click the ChristianChat.com logo in the very top left. When that comes up you'll see a line of words colored blue near the top. The one on the far left says 'Avatar'. Click that, and read the instructions posted on that page. If you need more help i would post it in the User2User Tech section. That is the place to post all questions for asking for help with the site, or any questions you have on computers, etc. It is just other users helping each other.

Okay. So this thread "Kalina" is basically dead. But the life of a Christian is all about redemption, right? So let's redeem "Kalina" and bring her back from the dead. :)

According to Behindthename.com, the name Kalina is Bulgarian, Macedonian and Polish. It means "viburnum tree". Plus, there is a subtle Y sound before the second syllable. In Cyrillic script, it is spelled Калина.

Here is a viburnum tree. Personally, I think it's very beautiful. No wonder it became a name...

Entering the name Kalina into the Name Acronym Generator, we get...

K
insfolk
Always
Love
Intelligent
Natty
Aunts

The Kalina people are a people indigenous to the northern coastal areas of South America. They speak Carib.

An SPG Kalina is an armored Polish vehicle developed in the 1980's.

Kalina was the first Orca whale to be born in captivity.

The "Kalina Cycle" is a thermodynamic process for converting thermal energy to mechanical power.

The Lada Kalina is a Russian car.

There is a saying in Ukraine that goes: "Without Kalina, there is no Ukraina."

Also, there is an ecomuseum in Alberta, Canada called Kalyna Country which gets its name from the same source, the viburnum tree. Apparently many people from Ukraine live in that area, Kalyna County.

How about the rest of you? Know of any Kalina's to add? :)

This is a zombie thread for a reason. The OP is no longer here. If people kept pulling forward zombie threads, there would be no current ones to post on. Also, the mods discourage zombie threads..

Newer threads are still available to post on when a zombie thread is pulled forward.

Oncefallen recently said he sometimes enjoyed seeing a thread resurrected.

I personally haven't seen any zombie threads taking over since I've been on this site. It doesn't seem to be an epidemic in any way. I see nothing wrong with having fun with an old thread and garnering new discussion, unless we're discussing how Lincoln's first presidential term is going or something... :D

Now, if you really like Kalina, here are some things named Kalina that you can own!

You could grow Kalina carrots, a Polish variety:

You could wear Kalina hiking boots with a Kalina tank top, a Kalina skirt, Kalina buff (it's a hat I guess...), a Czech Kalina bracelet, a Kalina pearl ring, Kalina earrings, a Kalina cross necklace and some Kalina perfume.

But since that might look like a mixed up mess... Maybe you'd rather write with a Kalina pen.

Or sleep in a Kalina bed...

Sit in a Kalina chair...

Read by a Kalina Tiffany-style lamp...

Or get a Kalina glass shelf...

And get a book to put on it. This one is entitled... Guess what? "Kalina"! It's about a talking black cat escaped from a laboratory who has supernatural abilities unbeknownst to everyone else. Apparently she wants revenge on the people who did experiments on her and she seeks the help of her true love - a half cat half man creature. Hmmm... Proceed cautiously. :) But there's nothing to worry about unless you read German.

Finally, if you feel the same way I do, maybe all you really want is to snuggle up with a teddy bear.

A derivative of Kalina is 'Kalinka' which is the title of one of the most famous Russian folks songs. You can hear it here:

And here's a song called "The Red Viburnum in the Meadow" which was a Ukrainian patriotic march.

Okay, another one called "Ubava Kalina". I have no idea what this one is about, so hopefully you Macedonian members aren't offended in some way!

I prefer the first two as this guy sounds way off note to me, but maybe I'm wrong...
