Are you an egg...soft & runny but when finding yourself in boiled water (tough times) grow hard and strong?
Or are you a potato, hard but when in difficult circumstances (boiling water) become soft & all mashed up??

''When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and when you pass through the rivers, they will not sweep over you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be burned; the flames will not set you ablaze. For I am the Lord your God...'' Isaiah 43:2-3.

God Bless you, in His Name. <><

I am a sponge. I become tough when I'm boiled, but I never lose the softness and porousness.

*is suddenly hungry for potatoes with scrambled eggs*

Im more like a summer wind, I move along bringing the breeze when needed, the warmth delighted, surrounding and covering and gently lifting.
Moved not by my power, but by God's. :)

God bless

I had to read the post again to make sure I was reading it correctly. Somehow, I thought they were asking which came first the potato or the egg:confused: Luckily I reread it and it makes sense now. I would say that I am an egg because when I go through hard times I find myself getting stronger. "L'eggo my Eggo", sorry couldn't help myself. LOL

I was going to say both please! But then I read the OP, thought about myself and then say I can usually start out as a potato, then I come to my senses and become an egg

I hate it when sometimes eggs crack and seep out egginess when you boil them...but I think your alright :)
Have you not heard that putting a little salt in the water before the egg stops egg seepage?

Could this be a little sermon in the making?

Can I be one of those sponge animal capsules instead? break out of your shell in tough times?

That's funny This could end up being like that game where you start out with an instruction and pass it on... "word to mouth"...until the end and you repeat back the instruction...and it is like a whole different concept. ....and what's bad is we don't even have to say it "word to mouth!".... Smile.
