Got home from evening service tonight around 8:30pm, and wow what an amazing night, the praise and worship was powerful, truly felt like God was all around me, like i was totally aware of His presence, and I got so filled with the joy of His presence, that I couldn't help but smile with every lyric I sung. And what was even more amazing, God brought someone back :D like the prodigal son, a young man, about my age came along with his family and rededicated himself to God :D was amazing!

Is it just me that gets soooooo excited when someone comes to Christ for first time, or someone comes back after a time of wandering?! :) what was everyone else's sunday like? :)

Heck no!

"I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner that repenteth, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance."

That's cool, MB. Praise God! Sunday was a good day, albeit the weather. :)

Malcyboy,

Not every day will be like this.

You need to keep a journal of exciting things God does in your life, and around you, and also the exciting lessons he teaches you. Then when you're going through a bad spot, you can go back and remember these things, and be encouraged by God's miracles.

I keep "prayer journals", and "personal lesson journals"... so I can write down answers to prayers, and also all of the special things God teaches me. It's not just an encouragement for yourself on dark days, but it can also be an encourage to others.

Glad you're so excited about people coming to Christ.
:)

I'm in the process of finding a new church, so no news here. :) Just spent the day with my mom and some family for Mother's day.

Sunday, Mother's Day, was lovely. First off, as I posted before my church is getting a new pastor. We are all quite sad to see our current pastor go, he is very loved, but we saw a picture of the new pastor and his wife. The pastor, Pastor Marc, looks very friendly - big smile, I liked it. Some of the council got to meet him and they all had positive things to say about him, his wife, his teaching style and ministry beliefs. So I'm feeling better about the whole thing, YEAH GOD!! You do work for us, every single day. Hallelujah!

Oh yes I understand what you are saying, but really I meant as you said, keeping myself reminded of that excitement, so when I feel challenged, or if i dont have that joy due to circumstances, I can remember the power that is in praising God and I can stir myself up to stand strong in circumstances, I have come to learn that emotions dont always remain and usually are the last thing to follow lol but I know when we remain strong in the word, we will remain joyful and at peace :)

We are having lovely weather aren't we. Can I ask, how did you get the Saltire up, I could not find one but would like it. Which church do you go to? Do you live in Scotland? I made this mistake before assuming the ascottish flag meant Imhad a neighbor! :) I live near Dumfries, in the lovely rolling hills and glens, even if it is raining its so beautiful. Today it's still can't make up its mind...rain, sun...rain & sun! God Bless you and magnify your faithfulness :) <><
