Big Train is good fun but The Sketch Show is better. There are a lot of great British comedy series.

Here's a skit about a workshop - overcoming phobias.

There's a hilarious sketch with 2 guys from Scotland in one of those voice recognition elevators (lifts) and they can't get it to go to the floor they need it to & they become more & more upset as they end up being trapped in there. It makes me cry with laughter when I watch it. I would post the vid,but I think they might swear a few times & I don't want to offend anyone here. Plus as we know, some words to us in America may be offensive to others in a different country. When I watch the video I think of my ex-wife as she was English & when she lived here in the states,so many people where she worked either didn't understand her accent or they assumed she was Australian ,which drove her crazy. I don't blame her,as I don't think they sound at all alike. *shrugs*:)
