Yeah, I've tried that, but somehow, it's not ending up very well. I'm not sure, but when I write to God, I somewhat think he wants me to speak instead. I do write poetry for God and all, but prayers? Not sure. (anditotallyneedtomakealistofthingsineedtoprayforbutikeepforgettinglol)

So what about you guys? Have you tried it?

In my prayer journals, I just write down what I'm praying about each day.

Then I go back later and make notes about how God answered those prayers.

Nothing complicated.

yes and I can think of a thousand things to pray about but when it come to writing them down it all leaves my head. I think sometimes God doesn't want us to record things on paper, but just speak it and trust that He will take care of the matter.
