I am thankful for...

God opening my heart to receive His Son
Life though not perfect I can use it to know Him more
My family, friends and every old and new relationship
For the opportunity to connect with other Christians here in CC
For my country
For laughter and for tears that reminds me how human I am
For the birds I hear on mornings and on evenings
For the hope that God provides to us via His many promises

What are you thankful for?

Great idea for a post. :)

I'm thankful that I am saved.
I'm thankful that God is the way He is: compassionate, caring, merciful, etc.
I'm thankful for what God's going to do with my life.
I'm thankful that I have food on the table every night.
I'm thankful that I have shelter, clothes, everything else that I take for granted.
I'm thankful for my health.
I'm thankful for my family.

To tell the truth, and I sure will. some don't like the idea of being on cc alot or to what ever amount of time is alot to them, some see it as not valuable time. I've found the most anointed beautifulest times, of encouragement, and never laughed so much and so hard, and it has become as a training ground where the role models have a heart to teach, and reach. It is a connection of the spirit, we don't need to see a role model, like modeling the attire, we hear it, and if the speaker chooses to come on cam, good also. The HOly Spirit speaks to us. The Word of the LORd says, that those who are engrafted and belong to the Father, through Jesus, are his sons and daughters, and we are one family, and one body. So if I sit next to someone in a church, shoulder to shoulder, that person, never greats me, never acknowleges that I am even alive, and what is that, but a cold shoulder. It seems that the LOrd has put us here on cc in like tribes together. The 12 tribes of Jacob, all were family, but they all were in different locations, and on a different assignment to the Lord . No time is wastefull time when the heart is not distastefull to your brothers and sisters in Christ. I am thankfull that the LOrd has us in his hands, we grow together, in his word. We don't need to be together in the flesh, as "those who worship God must worship him in spirit and in truth." If the Lord says, we are one body in him, "I am the vine and ye are the branches." The tree is the LOrd, we are like the leaves, did you know there is not a leaf the same. So the Christian Chat "ministry" is well worth the time, money, and there is a place of service here for everyone, for we minister to one another, there is no greater calling than this to follow Jesus, when he said, Follow me, on the sands of the shore.......:);):D:)

I am grateful for the goodness of God, His daily protection, provision, and amazing blessings.
I am grateful for today's chilly but lovely weather.
I am grateful for all the wonderful people the Lord has blessed me with.
I am grateful for His everlasting grace and love.
I am grateful even through times of disappointment for I trust that in due time He will work through them to show His magnificent power and wrought miracles.
Psalms 136:1 (KJV) O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endureth for ever.

Psalms 150:1-6 (KJV)
1 Praise ye the LORD. Praise God in his sanctuary: praise him in the firmament of his power.
2 Praise him for his mighty acts: praise him according to his excellent greatness.
3 Praise him with the sound of the trumpet: praise him with the psaltery and harp.
4 Praise him with the timbrel and dance: praise him with stringed instruments and organs.
5 Praise him upon the loud cymbals: praise him upon the high sounding cymbals.
6 Let every thing that hath breath praise the LORD. Praise ye the LORD.

1 Thess 5:18 (KJV) In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you.

I am thankful for what I used to consider troubles, for they were the foundations of my life in the Lord.

I am thankful for the days God gives us to love those around us and to instill His love in our children. Today was one where I felt particularly blessed :)

Yes we can never run out of things to be thankful for which is good because we must always remember that we are to be thankful to the Lord God for all the He is and for all He has done and continues to do and will do. For the hope He has given to all of us. As an old song goes "Count your blessings name them one by one..." We are to recognize that no matter what it is we are going through or being faced with our God is greater than that! For He is awesome, majestic, great, holy, infinite, all powerful, everlasting. There is no other that can compare none absolutely none!

give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
- 1 Thessalonians 5:18

I will give thanks to the Lord because of his righteousness; I will sing the praises of the name of the Lord Most High
- Psalm 7:17

Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
- Psalm 118:1
