I have been involved in entertainment for many years. I've signed a few autographs and been mobbed a couple of times. I was just thinking about how we view and react to thoses people that God has has blessed with talents and gifts. We hear their music or we observe their atheletisism, or consider their acting ability or beauty. We call them stars, but we treat them like Gods. By worshipping, praising and honorting them. What do you think about this. Id like to know your thoughts.

I love to read of those who have been successful, and who openly declare that all their blessings as gifts from God. There are so many on this earth who God has blessed with talent but often they do not get the break for a myriad of reasons. Sadly many do not use their God given talents in a God given way but instead edify themselves and do all for hollow 'fame' and personal monetary gain. Celebrity has become slightly mad now, you can be famous for being famous :) and then actually hold forth...and the sad thing is, people listen! fame is usually fleeting...and its an unstable life for many. As with everything, if God is at the helm, success and happiness is possible :) <><

So at your next interview, make sure you tell the press where your talent comes from and why you do it. Ever think about a career doing it for God, with Chrisitan material?

You're not going to stop people who don't know God from not recognizing His gifts in people, but you can make a dent in the problem.
