Have you ever prayed to God for a miracle and it happened? If so, please share with us what happened.

Way back in High School. way back in 1976 I was sick and this happened during final exams. I had a fever. My eyes burned as I blinked. I was weak, had a sore throat and sore all over. There was an odd metal taste in my mouth too. I went to the library to find a good private place to pray.

Back then my faith was very strong. I simply asked God to heal me and nothing happened. I prayed again arguing with God on why I should of been healed. I quoted scripture and I was really disappointed that God had not healed me. I'm not sure if it was a prayer or a rant.

When I finally said what had to be said...I suddenly realized my eyes no longer burned.. The metal taste was gone and I felt completely normal. I walked across campus to see if my muscles ached and they were fine. God healed me.

What is your story?

Funny thing is, some miracles seem so small when viewed from the outside.

We had a cat named Basta. All of our cats are outdoor cats, and we had had coyote problems. Basta had been missing for a week, and we'd all figured that was that. But I was really attached to that cat and told God so. One night, about the one week marker, I told God how much I missed her, and that it was really a silly and somewhat selfish thing to ask, but I wanted her back, and I knew if it was important to me, it was important to Him. I spent about 45 minutes praying that night, and believing God was listening and that He was near and that He cared. And while I was praying, I heard/felt God say, "That cat will be on the front porch tomorrow morning." So I started to worship God, and thank Him so much, and went right to sleep believing I was going to get what I'd begged for. I slept like a baby. My mom (who was about as attached to the cat as I was) came and woke me up and said, "Basta's back! She was on the front porch this morning!" and I just smiled and said, "I know. God told me He was going to bring her back. I asked and He said 'Yes!'".

Awesome miracle. I had a similar experience with my dog, but not as dramatic. I thought I had lost him but got him back in an hour.

By far the coolest thing about it was that I was able to trust God so completely with it. I knew it was going to be okay, and even had a SPECIFIC answer!

It was 4am and I was having an extremely difficult time with something going on in my life. I almost literally screamed to God for help, and at 430am got a text from my dad saying he woke up out of a dead sleep at 4 and felt the need to pray for me and wanted to know what was wrong

I was in high school at a church camp in Oklahoma. There were tornado sightings everywhere and one was heading towards Oklahoma Christian University. I prayed to God that the tornado wouldn't touch the campus and it didn't. I was relieved.

My baby was coming prematurely. Everyone was gathered at the hospital, told she probably wouldn't live. I was under anesthesia, but it seemed I talked to the angels come to help with the birth. They told me it was better she not live. I begged for her life. They said they would ask if my request could be granted, but told me their way was better. She lived with us for 21 wonderful years, a life that seemed to be blessed.

This is really not important at all but just shows God cares and does listen......I was at my son's Christian School camp in a rural area, everyone had left the camp with transport to a dam in the area for lunch and I had missed the call so was left behind....I could have stayed but thought what am I to do for 3-4 hrs so I started running to see if I could find where they were, the area was very "foresty" so you could not see for very far, as I took off running I started a conversation with the Lord and asked Him to show me the way, every "T" junction I came to I would ask "which way now Lord, left or right?", there was no pillar of smoke or booming voice, just like an unction to go left or right. I must have run for about an hour turning left here and right there, eventually when I was starting to get tired I also started doubting, I saw a man walking which was the first person I saw and asked him if he knew where there was a dam in the area, he pointed to a hardly visible pathway across the road where we stood so I thanked him and ran down this pathway and there it was with all the people from the camp who's eyes widened when they saw me asking how I found them, I just said casually "The Lord showed me? which they stared in disbelief.

Also, something that happened recently was that I found someone to carpool with at the christian school that Im praying to go to. Its 30 minutes from my house, so finding someone to carpool with was really unlikely. She is my age and it will be her first year there too, she told me she had been praying for someone to carpool with too! We met training to be media volunteers at church

The Lord solves all my problems for me. I suppose that's an ongoing miracle.

Yes, I was travelling on the highway, surrounded by cars and trucks and a cement wall. My brakes locked and I lost control of the car. As the car began to spin I closed my eyes and yelled JESUS quickly several times. The car came to a stop on the other side of the highway pointed in the opposite direction safely. There was no way that car could have physically gotten to where it ended up without a major collision taking place. I was surround, the was no way, except Gods way. That was 25 years ago. That situation changed my entire oulook on God. Any doubt thhat I may have had about God was erased that day and I began to really love Him because He showed me thatHe loved me by saving my life.

I prayed to God all the time. My life circumstance found me with only God to talk to. Of course now I know how lucky I was to only have God, cause we all know....God is all you need.

I had a rough rough marriage and no one to talk to about it. My mom was deceased, dad remarried, and both brothers moved out of state. So when my marriage was confusing me and I hurt I talked to God... a lot. He listened as I went on an on. As things in my marriage got so bad I would talk to God and pray for love. I was praying to feel loved by my husband. I prayed that for 10 years.

That's when one day God gave me the blessing of healing and something I described at the time, as God pouring pure Love into my heart. It was just like that. I later learned when getting into the bible more it was the filling of the spirit. God didn't heal my marriage, as were still working on that. He didn't have my husband love me the way I need to be loved, but he gave me a love that no man could ever give me. :) I am good with that.

Back in 1998 I had a stroke, Now I was saved but not filled with the Holy Spirit. I went to Doctors, who would/could not help me, they thought I was an alcoholic or mentally ill, to which my family assured them I was neither, they kept referring me to see psychiatrist. I did not see a psychiatrist, but rather I went to Jesus and asked Him to heal me and fill me with his Holy Spirit, at the same time I was praying " God I forgive" so and so for this or that, I went on and on all of a sudden It was like a flash, I was forgiving all these people for offenses I had taken and held as grudges, most were probably not even intended, I saw how ugly and unkind of me then I said " Oh God please forgive me ". I knew immediately that I was healed, even though it was not outwardly apparent for almost a year, but I knew it, I can not explain how I believed something that was not manifest in my body yet, so for a year I gave my testimony everywhere I went. I would say " I had a stroke but God has healed me ". Some people would praise God for my healing and some would look at me pitifully and say " let me pray for your healing ". I would think "did you not hear me, I said God has already healed me " and the Holy Spirit would whisper to me "don't let them touch you, they don't believe you because they cannot see it " anyway long story short I was healed completely. I could not tell this story for years without crying because of what Jesus had done for me.:)

One of the things I did as I went thru deliverance was a homework assignment. I was asked to write a list of everyone who had ever wronged me. I am not one to hold grudges and I felt this assignment was a complete waste of my time, yet I proceeded.

I started to right out names. Some of the persons I could not recall their names so I wrote whatever I could. Sometimes it was just a description of the person. At one point I asked to show me if I had left anyone out and I recalled more. When I felt the list was complete, I prayed. I first told God that I forgive them and release them from any debt to me, actual or perceived. I told God I remove them from my hands and place them in His hands for Him to deal with them as He sees fit. I also prayed for them to be saved. Finally I asked to be forgiven of my forgiveness, bitterness, etc.

When I was done I suddenly felt an inner peace, the kind I knew I could face anything and still be at peace. It was an unshakable peace that stayed with me for 3 or 4 days. I highly recommend everyone to do this if for no other reason than to feel the same unshakable peace I had.

I was planning on signing up to go to Japan one year in my Japanese class in high school, and all my life that was one place I wanted to go outside the US. Well only few of us were signed up because the trip costed $4000+ (the plus was for your own personal cash such as snacks and food and souvenirs x_x), my family is kinda poor but they all wanted me to go. So I was the one who really couldn't save up anything, although we were trying. So one day I prayed after a meeting (we had every week or within each month) and I prayed that God would help me because this is my only chance since the trip doesn't come every year, our school usually does it every other year or so, which I was a junior. And I think I actually cried because it was something I dreamed.

And if not the next day, after school I was going out and I didn't hear any announcements, well a friend of mine on a bus told me they called me to the Japanese room for something...so I ditch the bus and headed there. As I was stepping in the room, I saw over 20 people inside.

They all looked at me [because I was late and was one of the last people to arrive] and my Japanese teacher had me stand in front of the classroom while everyone stared at me and told me in Japanese that "everyone here is going to Japan" I was like what? "Everyone is going for free". I stopped and looked at everyone with my mouth gaping, and everyone laughed in joy as they saw my face!

And I found out this trip was supported completely by the Japanese government as a gratitude for America to be the first to step up and help them after the Tsunami that destroyed the east coast a few years ago. Project "Kizuna". And in Japan the government provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner free, they took us almost everywhere in Japan (except Mount. Fuji) and was hosted as a student and lived with a family and I was there for less than a month. Had a blast! And the money that we saved up thinking we would use for traveling was used for souvenirs, all I had was $400 to be honest and I spent enough in those 23 days! :D Praise God! I hope to visit again!!!

YES! So many I will be brief.

1) My eyesight improved when I asked God to make my sight better to become my eyes and to heal them when I had no glasses when I went to the optometrist she said after looking at my records your eyes are in excellent health and your vision has improved! She was right I was actually able to see clearer without having glasses.

2) I had an infection and I threw away my meds after one day usage and I prayed for healing and I have never taken any meds after.

3) I also had a severe right shoulder blade pain. I prayed over the area and there is no more pain!

3) I use to get severe stomach pains which became worse with the infection I placed my hand on the spot while I was doing praising and I asked to be healed and Ive been pain free since.

But most of all what I remember is an intense liquid heat being felt in my body especially with the right shoulder blade healing. I was amazing I felt the area got so hot and then the pain left! For the infection it was my whole body experiencing the liquid heat it was like moving and increasing in heat and then I became better.

The Lord is our Healer we are to believe and He shall make us whole, for by His stripes we are healed!
