You might be in a tough place in your life (given your other threads.)
All I have to say, Is reading the bible and finding out these verses can be a lot better to your understanding then someone shouting them at you.
I know from personal experience that someone might tell me a verse and I go; okay, yah sure, whatever, thank you it helped
...
But when I stumble upon it; the verse takes a new meaning... I understand the thought behind the verse and why it was written. I understand who it was written too, and from who it was written... I understand its significance... And majority of the time the verses below and above it are just as meaningful...

The Bible does not say anything about being gay. What it says is that gay sexual intercourse keeps you from entering the Kingdom of God (I Cor. 6:9). Jesus teaches that some people are made not to do sex at all, and that others voluntarily choose not to for the Kingdom's sake (Matt. 19:12). Sex is one way to show love, and everyone needs to make his own decision about how he is going to use it, realizing that each decision has implications for the meaning of love for himself and for those he shares it with. The key is that God is love, and the closer our ways of showing love match His, the closer we will be to Him.

Brought to your attention by who though? There is a lot of gay agenda out there pushing people to accept homosexuality as normal. Its gotten to the point where you either accept and support the homosexual agenda, or you are a homophobic bigot. There is no middle ground in their eyes.

It is not the way God created us to be. We have people who are crippled and not normal in other ways, this is one way of being crippled. If they practice "being one" as the bible puts it for sex, they are breaking some of God's basic ways for us to live. When we mix what God says not to mix, havoc is created. If you read the story of Sodom and Gomorrah you will see one of the results of this chaos. It is often one of the symptoms of such moral decline that an entire nation falls, such as was the case in the Roman Empire.
Psychiatry is finding that brains can change and is learning how to change them in the case of damaged brains. So we are learning that we can create homosexuals through such as the media, teaching this lifestyle. It is also one of the results of the break up of the family as a solid unit in our society based on the sexual revolution. This also is against some of God's basic principles.
You and I, far removed from this lifestyle, will pay a heavy price for what is happening. I think Ellen DeGeneres is a lovely talented lady, but I will not watch that show. She is being used by Satan, and hasn't a clue that she is being used.
There is a sure result of this lifestyle in our world, just as it is sure that there are tides in the ocean.
The only defense we have is to be strong in the Lord. That is to make our churches strong. Our churches are made up of human people who are not purely spiritual, we live our life by what we do, so our habits are important to us. Our churches are teaching, more and more, that if we make our habits part of our worship, those habits would only be legalism, so they teach against anything but spiritual worship. Our churches need the spiritual worship, they need this training, but by saying you may not include any of your habits in your worship, our churches are not strong enough to stand up to this trend in our society. Morning coffee is what is important to us, not a morning prayer ritual. And we are human enough to need the morning prayer ritual, and we need to be Christian enough to make that a ritual in spirit and truth, not a ritual in legalism.

And that, I realize you're already aware, is quite the manipulative tool, to place saying homosexuality is a sin, or a corruption of what is natural; and hence against God (not to mention that He Himself clearly said so) in the same spot as racial prejudice or nothing more than a minority group whose rights are equal to every else's. I saw a post in another forum where someone said if this was true, then pedophiles are a minority and should be recognized the same way? Well obviously no one would think that would work at all. He also said something like a man could even marry his goat with that kind of thinking? I thought that was hilarious. Cause it's so right on!

I used to have a problem with homosexuality, I used to give into my thoughts a lot...
I did it again after I came to Christ and the sorrow I had for doing it made me cry so much. Because I willingly and knowingly went against his will...
Yes sometimes the thoughts come up... and yes this is the first time I have ever admitted this (I hope no one I know see's this else I have a lot of explaining to do )... but the memory of how I felt for doing that to Jesus is enough for me to say 'what ever' to my desires...
The worst desire I get lasts a hour at most... It seems like more, but it isn't... And I realized what is a few minutes of sin compared to an eternity of Life...
I did it again after I came to Christ and the sorrow I had for doing it made me cry so much. Because I willingly and knowingly went against his will...

I too, once lived in the Homosexual lifestyle...But GOD is changing my heart and my thoughts! I am loving the freedom from all the lust...It is pretty cool that the lifestyle that I was so addicted to is apart of my past and that I have been forgiven! One of the hardest things was having to give up all the "Friends" that I had in that lifestyle but I am trusting that GOD will give me new ones!

Not saying a thought is a crime but if someone fantasises about homosexual intercourse and is aroused but does not do it it may not be a sin of homosexual intercourse.
If you work at a business and you have a position of trust and you fantasise about breaking the trust to steal loads of money from the business and give some excuse for where it "disappeared", that may not be theft unless you act upon it.
If you rape or dominate someone and their body to homosexual intercourse maybe that is a sin also.
I do not beleive in hating or abusing gay people or in discriminating them or when it becomes the opposite "only gay" "homosexual group get special rights and votes".
I do not beleive in homosexual marriages in church though.
Why bring it to church and change scriptures to suit what people want or desire it to be?
I think pilots, captains and judges marry homosexual people but it is not in the church.
There are other religions that might accept and welcome such and some where a gay man may dress up "drag" and live as woman and "have children" carry "a lump" but in reality it was all "cheated" "keep up appearances".
The man might steal from a woman to cover up and feel better and there are well known woman who are men who still have penises as they like that both have it.
Or muslim loads men under burka married to a man and say he have many wifes but they might all be homosexual men not wanting stand for it.
It is better be courageous and stand for being homosexual than doing evil things to cover it up.

A married man may lust every woman he sees and maybe he has high sex drive and maybe his woman has a body type he not attracted to but his "hard for attraction body type" of his taste flirts and seduces him always.
Jiggles her boozem, bends over with her cleavage and crosses her legs with high heels and pouts lips.....
He lust and desires her and maybe he does not lust or desire his wife like that but he loves her and she best friend.
Is it ok to cheat on her and fall in lust.
Is he boring and goodi good if he is faithful to her.
Then there is men and woman who say they are only sexually aroused by those in same sex as themselves.

We live in a marvelous time, God has let us understand so much about ourselves. Through brain imagining we can understand how our brain works. Christians have know that we change when Jesus comes into our hearts, now neuroscience is proving it and showing us why and how. There is an actual change in our brain when there is a change in our focus and thoughts.

Saying you are Gay, coming out of the closet, is a term used by some to mean they are same sex attracted and cannot do anything about it, so they accept it and just live a homosexual lifestyle. This is the lie.

Homosexuality has been confirmed in over 1500 species on earth - it is indeed very natural.
I think that homosexuals should live their lives as they see fit, and if they wish to enter in a registered partnership with another, they should have the right to do so.
I feel horrible thinking about how they have been hunted and prosecuted through the ages by various religions and governments.
