He offered her a solution to her dilemma in the midst of the attack. He said- Then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5). Eve, all you have to do is eat of this fruit, and you will have your security back and you will have your position back. Ye shall be as gods. She reached out and grabbed the fruit. When she bit into it, in disobedience to God's Word, she lost the very thing she was trying to regain. She now lost her security and her stature. She was now fallen. Satan had succeeded. Man had sinned against God, and the pure union between God and man was broken. Death now entered into mankind; SPIRITUAL DEATH, EMOTIONAL DEATH, RELATIONAL DEATH, AND ULTIMATELY PHYSICAL DEATH. The partaking of the fruit caused the very thing from which Eve was trying to get free. From this point on man would forever fight this same battle. Insecurity and inferiority had now entered the world, and all the other demon spirits had their access point upon which to attack and enslave mankind. Satan has not changed his strategy. Still to this day he uses the same two demon spirits to open mankind to partake of the deadly fruit that enslaves.
