So, I write a lot. Thought it was a good solution sticking some of my stuff one here, seeing what people think. ;)
My own heart is out to get me
People I cannot see
Shadows all around me
Where I am supposed to be?
In my bed Thursday Morning
In my car Friday night
Getting away from everything
I'm just a ballerina
Dancing in my own dreams
Talking to the cat
Having a deep conversation
Hoping that he'll talk back
He just stares right at me
Just like the world does too
Nobody seems to get me
Not even my own self
Where does this get me?
Where am I gonna go?
My fingers dancing on the keyboard
My mouth singing songs of my heart
My head so confused now
This is just another nightmare
In which no one dared to wake me
In which no one cared to show me
This is not really happening..

Great! Love it Morgan. But would love to see you actually Speak the words, So I can see the emotion behind the words more. But great poetry..

I need the darkness, the silence,
I need to not give up, just forget,
Push aside and not regret,
Oh, I need this..
But I can't just stop thinking,
I can't just throw away memories,
And cover them with what's left of me,
Oh can't you see,
I need this pain, I need the shame,
I wish my life wasn't the same,
As it is now, but I don't know how..
To make a change, for the good,
I just wish I understood,
The meaning in all of this..
Oh I need this..

I love it Morgan, you have a great way of wording it, Stil like to hear the words, so I can see and hear the emotion behind the words, Im more of a visual and sound person. I like to see what I hear, so I get in the emotion of the poem, But Fantastic.
