My first name is French in origin and means "honeybee."

Yeah, I kinda got screwed with my middle name. I always thought it was pretty until I looked it up. It's derived from "Leah," who was the weak-eyed, unloved first wife of Jacob. As an ex-first wife who wears glasses, I'm starting to be convinced about the power of names. That's one of the reasons my son's name means "Victorious King."
