Hello, I've been having problems with myself lately. There's been time I just want to say okay God " why I am my sad? or Can't I do anything right my anyone & Its all my fault again."
I turned to few people for help, but I don't want to cause a fight again or tell them that I not doing well today.
Where do turn to when I get theses moods or thoughts again?
God only know, its just rough & I want to stay positive in my life.

Could come from a number of areas if this isn't something normal. Physical, hormonal, psychological, circumstantial. Start with a doctor to test you for any possible problems physically or hormonal.

First I want to say that I will pray that God gives you peace in your spirit and soul.......All I can offer you are some general thoughts about this....

FIX YOUR EYES ON JESUS........by that I mean, turn it (whatever IT is) over to God......In my experience, when WE try to FIX things in our lives, it doesn't turn out so well.......Give it to God! Seek your joy in Him.....

Do you have a favorite Hymn of Praise? I ask because, for me, this is one of the best ways to chase away those nasty old storm clouds of doubt, despair and sorrow......SING PRAISES TO GOD! When I do this, before long I find myself smiling and remembering all the blessings God has bestowed upon me........as undeserving as I am.......and shoot, my toes are tapping, and my face is grinning, and His love and joy floods my soul!

When I am really, really low in spirit............this is the tune I fire up.........hey, it works for me.......not promising it will do the same for you.........but there are so many Praise Songs...........pick your favorite, and SING! Sing praises to God!

I am 88 and I am still working at it! I use the scripture (Php 4:8) Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable--if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise--dwell on these things.

Often my mind gets stuck on my problems, and then worry about them comes in. Or prayer becomes giving the Lord a list of what we find wrong, and we call it facing the facts. My "what if's" become ways of fixing the problem that aren't God's ways. I found the only way to improve myself is to put in what God says to do. I let my mind put in good things that could fix a problem as a possibility. Or put in a scripture answer to how to look at things. I have helped myself, but I have a long, long ways to go and I am running out of time!

One thing that helps me through hard times and negative thoughts is practicing gratitude.

Instead of dwelling on life stresses, or certain health issues that I fear I might have to see a doctor for, I try to shift my thoughts on things I am thankful for instead and it helps to take my mind off the fear.

I just thank God for as many things as I can think of. And even during my most scared times, I can always still think of some things. Being thankful is a powerful thing, but just like exercising and eating healthy, thinking positive takes work and effort to remember to do it. I'm not sure if this is helpful or not, but it has blessed me in the past and I thought I'd share.

Hi, Scripture tells us to take every thought captive. My understanding is it is telling us to watch our thoughts to see where they are coming from. Are they resentful thoughts, are they angry thoughts? By taking them captive, we can get much understanding of problems in our souls, that need to be repented of.

I know it may seem rough, but, at least it is a symptom of what is being revealed to us.
It's okay to say to people that you are doing fine while working on the inner problem. At least you can sound positive.
Eventually you will be once God cleans the inside of the cup.
By the way, it is not your fault, but something that entered the mind and can be cleansed.
I say this because I had been there many years ago and overcame it by hungering and thirsty to be cleansed by God.
There is nothing wrong with sadness, it can be an appeal to god for help, if it comes from being sorry for our sins, and God hears it.

Hey, you may live another 25 years, you're not running out of time, because although the body ages, the mind can remain young.

[h=3]Psalm 43[/h]The Message (MSG)

43 1-2 Clear my name, God; stick up for me
against these loveless, immoral people.
Get me out of here, away
from these lying degenerates.
I counted on you, God.
Why did you walk out on me?
Why am I pacing the floor, wringing my hands
over these outrageous people?

3-4 Give me your lantern and compass,
give me a map,
So I can find my way to the sacred mountain,
to the place of your presence,
To enter the place of worship,
meet my exuberant God,
Sing my thanks with a harp,
magnificent God, my God.

5 Why are you down in the dumps, dear soul?
Why are you crying the blues?
Fix my eyes on God—
soon I’ll be praising again.
He puts a smile on my face.
He’s my God.

:)

James 4:1[ Submit Yourselves to God ] What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?

Mark 4:19
but the worries of this life, the deceitfulness of wealth and the desires for other things come in and choke the word, making it unfruitful.

Romans 6:12
Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires.

2 Corinthians 7:1
Therefore, since we have these promises, dear friends, let us purify ourselves from everything that contaminates body and spirit, perfecting holiness out of reverence for God.

Matthew 4:1
[ Jesus Is Tested in the Wilderness ] Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.

Luke 8:13
Those on the rocky ground are the ones who receive the word with joy when they hear it, but they have no root. They believe for a while, but in the time of testing they fall away.

Luke 22:32
But I have prayed for you, Simon, that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned back, strengthen your brothers.”

Isaiah 4:4
The Lord will wash away the filth of the women of Zion; he will cleanse the bloodstains from Jerusalem by a spirit of judgment and a spirit of fire.

Luke 22:43
An angel from heaven appeared to him and strengthened him.

Acts 14:22
strengthening the disciples and encouraging them to remain true to the faith. “We must go through many hardships to enter the kingdom of God,” they said.

Good for you OP. Have you ever heard that song "It's me, It's me, It's me oh Lord standing in the need of prayer. It's not my Father or my Mother but it's me O Lord standing in the need of prayer. I have to sing this sometimes because I feel like you do. I hope you could turn here and find comfort. I like your post because you want to do something to help your attitude and not blame someone else. My daughter and I had a melt down moment a couple days ago, and my other child heard the whole thing. I felt so bad for her that I had to apologize to her.

I think its just time for Satan to make havoc in our lives. We will just have to trust Jesus through it all.

It would be good to identify what is causing this, is it negative self-talk, poor dieting/lack of exercise or sleep, relationships that have gone sour, inner doubts or fears/oppressive thoughts or things from the past that have not been surrendered yet to G-d or are haunting, negative input from the world, not letting feelings flow (let all the feelings pass; accept the feelings whether bad or good, because if we do not let our feelings pass we are actually aggravating the problem, personal experience), or staying in that spot (sometimes we sink into a low but we got to work our way out of that and not get stuck in that moment).

Try examining all of these areas of your life and addressing each one, and see how that goes.

As a classic Eeyore from Winnie the pooh myself - it takes a lot of work, just being honest. Renewing your mind, and washing it in the word, choosing what is lovely, good, pure, and of good report - hard and painful, especially in a negative critical world. It really has been a besetting sin in my life. It effects so much, that you do not even realize it - especially other people

I got to the point where I realized that I was giving a bad report about my God to others. Like people want to worship a God that makes His followers so negative, and morose?

Get alone with God, with a pen and paper and pray that He might speak to your heart and help you

No temptation has seized you but what is common to man... Other people are getting more or less victory than you - it's not uncommon - it can be killed - sin can be killed, we have to reckon that to our lives
