New member today, who tries like the dickens to dumb down his posts to try and make us believe he's 13. NOT buying it
Or you just insulted a 13 year old boy on his educational and intellectual level.. Who is just trying to get help on a sin so he doesn't fall into hell...

I like to think the later, because worst case scenario is he is a fraud and moves on... But these posts will remain and maybe some other 13 year old boy will come across this and find great help in someones post...

God is 3 persons... God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit...

But there is plenty of time to get into that in the future... Just focus on one thing at a time... read your bible because what you feed your mind is what you will think about... If you watch cartoons all day your thoughts will be of this world.. If you read your bible a lot then your thoughts will be towards God... :) And it helps to think about God when you are in need...

I will talk later... Going to bed now

If I am a laughingstock for someone so be it... To be honest i could care less... I think the reason being is because I have been praying a lot about my pride recently... And if you have not forgotten there were also 3 other homosexual teens that are offline but could look at the posts...

And maybe just maybe if he is a 45 year old man who is bored and wanting to make a mockery out of me... I hope I showed him the comradery of Christianity... That would be a blessing in disguise... (wishful thinking I know)

all I was looking for was to discuss the issue, with another Christian who as come up against the same difficulties as I have, you say I can't go to another gay christian male, but as a Christian male, most women wouldnt feel comfortable talking about issues like this with me, so who can I turn to exactly?

You should turn to God

Acts 3

19
Repent ye therefore, and be converted
, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord.

repentance and converstion are c
ompletely different

For me personally i think there is a danger talking to another gay christian hmmm what if temptaions lurks hmmm thats like a person saying i have a pro
blem with women and going into a room with a naked woman to tell her about your problems . No offence inteded but that is just my thought

Do you all not even see what you are doing is the very reason why he wanted to talk to someone who understands the temptations, the fear, and the apprehension to talk openly before others. You immediately call into question why he is doing what he is doing. You call for him to give up his sin, before even talking to him and sharing how God has moved in your life. This is why Alcoholics talk to Alcoholics and Addicts talk to Addicts. This Church was supposed to be a place for Sinners to talk to Sinners, but you claim that is playing with fire. Here is something I think you all need to do. Stop and let God do His work, and let us help each other, before warning of the pitfalls the world has, because we know the pitfalls.

But were WE any better when we were still under sin?

ThomistColin, It seemed from the outset, to me at least, that he had no interest in repentance and/or an acceptance that what he is into is sin. In AA, most people come in there because they realize that their lives are unmanageable. I didn't get that impression from the OP. Danschance gave him a perfectly legitimate outlet for discussion, and he immediately dismissed it. Sounds to me like he wants to stay in his sin.

Just my opinion, of course.

And I understand that opinion. However, Danschance sought to aid him. However, his first option given was to speak to a man who has been supposedly healed of his affliction. Many of us have sought this healing and never received it. So we bear the burden for Christ. We have heard of these healing ministries, in which, too high of a percentage of people commit suicide or are estranged from the church afterwards. Instead, let us deal with him. If he does not repent, that is his choice, and between him and God. If he does, then God will exalt him in his humility.

dus it still count as sinful if u think bout doin it but dont actully do it? (i hav sorta dun it befor but thats in the past and it dont matar now)
Since you're thirteen, I think your best bet would be to forget about adult issues for a few years and really try to focus on school. Your spelling and grammar are atrocious and if you don't remedy it now, you will probably not be able to make a good living when you become an adult in five years, and believe me, that will be here before you know it. You've got your whole life ahead of you to worry about adult issues. Right now you need to focus on your education.

Yeah, it sounds like you have it rough. I never liked school. I'm a teacher now. Isn't that funny. I home-school my kids. I believe if you want to go in the army you still have to pass a test. Its very basic but you should try the best you can so you can pass. it Now think about this. The better your score the better position you get. So my dad and my husband were in the army. My husband worked on helicopters my father went to Vietnam. So try to get your grades up that way you don't have to work in the kitchen. you can help decide what you might like to do.

Man to get into the army, you have to take an asvab test.... The test goes over English math, and science....
