I'm really not completely clear on my own feelings about this matter, but I was wondering if there was any strong Christian out there who is? Simple Question: Is it Biblicaly right or wrong for women to preach? I am well aware of both sides of this debate, and I know all the scriptures and philosophy behind each side, yet I can't seem to see a clear answer to this one. On one side you have the "no-people" who say that in II Timothy Paul said "I, personally, do not allow women to teach". Yet the counter-argument here is that some of the greatest missionaries which history can name have been women (aka Charlotte Diggs Moon). Also, Deborah was judge of Israel in the book of Judges. Your thoughts?

I think it's fine for a woman to preach. I don't think it's fine for a woman to be the headship/leader/Senior Pastor of a church. Does that make sense?

I think a woman can be a professional and respectable and amazing tutor, leader and preacher.

It is such a shame so many woman have missused power in sisterhoods where they missuse power ....

Some scriptures changed and were rewritten by men o suit the time and will of the politicians then and there , so the history chanel said based upon the original scriptures had been a tiny titch tampered with and how one interprets them also. :)
Blessed be.

I work as a tutor some times and would not be a never on preaching the good Lord.

Blessed be.

Oh, the verse was from First Timothy, not Second Timothy. Thanks for the correction.

The history channel is not a reliable source for history, let alone scripture. This whole conspiracy of the bible stuff is wishful thinking at best.
