It is different than his other stuff....he writes a lot of legal suspense...and they are very good and well written.

I am a HUGE fan of used bookstores...and stumbled accross The Painted House....and picked it up. I am about a third of the way through it...but I would reccomend it. (I would reccomend all his stuff)

"Secrets Men Keep" by Steve Arterburn...typical of his writing, Arterburn really gets at the deeper heart of men and does a good job of including women into the end of each chapter so women can understand where men are coming from on an issue...

my bedtime reading is "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn...very, very intriguing read discussing the myths held in the world and even in the church about Heaven that simply are not Biblical and what we can know about Heaven from the Bible...

next book I'll be reading is "Have a Little Faith" by Mitch Albom

Steve Arterburn is a great author, I read the book Every Womans Battle that he co-wrote with Shannon Ethridge it was a HUGE eye opener.

OK, finished it....and have to say that I am slightly dissapointed. :( John Grisham is a wonderful story teller...and ths book was no different...BUT...he did not finish the story. :( There is so much more I want to know that happened lol

I would still reccomend it, but be prepared to be left hanging in the end.

hahaha I hate it when that happens, they give a conclusion to one question but leave a lot of others hanging!!

I'm reading two books: War Diaries 1939 - 1945 of Field Marshal Lord Alan Brooke and G.K. Chesterton's Book "Orthodoxy". The first is a must read for those interested in WWII! The second, is very interesting also. G.K. Chesterton defending the idea of having faith.
