Stephen, Stephen, Stephen. Just stop. Head reaches (very, very) different people than you for Christ, so stop bagging him. You just seem to enjoy picking out the faults (supposed or otherwise) in people.

You mean it'a alright to sing about sex, cuss, & drop the f-bomb while singing for korn? This is fact, not fiction. Watch some Korn videos.

We can't talk like that in here, nor in church, nor around children. Believing he's alright is a double standard. Since when does someone claim salvation exempt to sin?

Popular or majority opinion doesn't change God's standards. I'm surprised how easy it is for christians to overlook the sins of someone who is supposed to have been saved for 7 years & still cusses on stage like a sailor. Didn't anyone watch the videos before they posted? If you don't believe me, fine....... prove it to yourself.
1 Thessalonians 5:21-22 (KJV) [SUP]21 [/SUP]Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. [SUP]22 [/SUP]Abstain from all appearance of evil.

I rebuke that spirit of judgement you're hanging out with first of all. That millstone will drag you down into the depths man, get rid of it. Instead of judging him why don't you look at the obvious fruits of the spirit in his life! Look at all the doors God has opened for him to tell people about Jesus in the position he's in now. Munky has also come to Christ in the band, so there's yet another testimony. Don;t judge people because they're walking where you're afraid to walk and showing the love of Christ places you wouldn't be willing to go. In that way Brian shows no boundaries, whereas you hide behind ideals, judgement and the walls you're putting up to dictate to who you should talk to and lead in to the Kingdom of God and who you shouldn't. You want to talk Korn videos. Go check out their latest one. It's a very socially conscientious video with a message against what the world is turning into. One could quote scripture to suite any argument they want and find problems anywhere they desire and judge. But it takes a better person to look at the whole situation rather than just part of it.

Sometimes people with good intentions lack wisdom.

Whether he's walking closely with God or not... either way he probably needs our prayers.

I felt this was going to happen when I listened to his song "Die Religion Die" and even the way he sings gave it away. He went back to Korn for a bad reason and accused GOD of actually LIKING their music. This is what happens when you shun GOD's Laws and act like you have no actually rules to follow when you become a Christian. Where in the Bible does it say that all you have to do is accept Yaheshua as your Lord and Savior and that's it. Your love is shown to GOD mainly by your obedience. If there are no rules, laws, or guide lines, then why does the Torah teach on obedience at all? Do people forget that Satan was once the lead musician in Heaven? If he was the musician of great, holy music in Heaven, then I think it is obvious, with him being the ruler of this world, that he is the musician of evil music here. I do not think that our Heavenly Father appreciates anything that has satan behind it. By my spirit, I felt that Brian never truly left his old self behind. It's just really sad that he let satan deceive him like that. Religion doesn't really die if you are religiously trying to avoid it. Religion is built on the basis of fear and pride. There is not one type of religion. Brian's religion, and mainstream Christianity's (aka. Christian Humanism), are based on the fear of rules, unacceptance, and the type of pride where you think that your way is the right way and you do not have a teachable spirit. The other type of religion is based on the fear of not following the rules enough and making mistakes and being to prideful to let go of the control. Both get so dug into their religion that they just cancel out the Word's commands all together. It's rally disappointing.

[h=4]Deuteronomy 11:1
[/h] Love the LORD your God and keep his requirements, his decrees, his laws and his commands always.

[h=4]Romans 1:5[/h] Through him and for his name's sake, we received grace and apostleship to call people from among all the Gentiles to the obedience that comes from faith
HavE you ever read any of his books clearly he is trying to turn JD MUNDY AND THE DRUMMER to be saved with the help of fieldy

The song doesn't really imply anything, it says it all quite directly (also, he doesn't say "kill all religion") It's talking about man made rules, people that point fingers....."man made religion". Did you even read the lyrics?
To add to what you said, it's talking about man made religions such as catholicism and the like not Christianity read save me from myself and with my eyes wide open

I too have respect & admiration for your example & the life you live on here. Please understand that I cannot sway away from the truth.

The truth is Brian didn't have to go back to the group. He read his new contract before he signed it.
The truth is in the pic he's enjoying himself. I don't believe that's in his contract.

Speakin of contracts, here's their 2014 schedule:

Korn Tour Dates 2014 — Korn Concert Dates and Tickets | Songkick ......interesting.

Bryan got saved in 2007, right?

Here's part of a review on his book: (the reviewer doesn't reccommend it)

Discerning Reader: Review of Save Me From Myself by Brian Welch

Individual readers will have to decide if they can deal with reading the story of Welch's life before his conversion. It is not easy to read about the drugs, alcohol, abuse and sexuality that pervaded his life and the lives of his band mates. Yet this was his life and he chose not to hide it. Readers should also be warned that the book contains quite a lot of profanity (lots of uses of hell, damn, the f-bomb, etc), some of it in quotations from his past, and some of it simply interspersed in the narrative. He indicates that God is helping him clean up his language but it seems strange that he would commit such profanity to the pages of the book. For those of us who value literary achievement, this book will prove frustrating as it's written by a rocker and one who clearly is not a great writer. Though he had some help in writing the book, it is still not very well written.

His christian band, Love and Death, opens for Korn. This group drops more profanity bombs than Germany did over London in WWII! My question is, is he leading people OUT of sin, or leading lambs into it?
Where are you getting your information from Korn isn't even that way anymore. I have their greatest hits album which was with head he was saved in 05 not 07. And who's to say Christ hasn't since entered Korn
