Personally, almost all metal for me.

Be it Slayer, Motorhead, Metallica, Mastodon or Tenacious D.

I also listen to Jaco PAstorius for the sole reason of improving my bass skills.

I love the bands that infuse Irish folk and Punk rock: Flogging Molly, the Tossers, and the Pogues.
I also enjoy a few streetpunk/oi! bands: Dropkick Murphys, Street Dogs, and Sham 69.
Then there are other punk bands I love: Rancid, Ramones, Dead Kennedys, Stiff Little Fingers and so on.
I also love Sting and the Police.

But, the music I could not live without: Gregorian Chant.
