Hello so I am a current senior in high school and I moved states this year and my parents have given me two options prior to the summer or 2014:

- Attend my high school graduation, go to all the senior events (prom, grad night, graduation, etc.) and go and visit my friends in California (where I have moved from) for three weeks
- Do not attend my high school graduation, but instead go on a 22-day trip through Europe (places like London, Milan, Venice, Rome, Amsterdam, and Barcelona)

So I have made the decision to go to Europe and miss out on the high school stuff. I've always wanted to travel there, and this might be the only opportunity to do so. The thing is that I've never been out of the United States (besides Mexico and the Caribbean). Is there any advice I could get when travelling? Like what should I pack and what's the weather like there? Should I do some research and stuff? Thanks!

1. be safe
2. meet with common people and learn more about this world than stay in exotic places. It will give you maturity.
3. don't fall for holiday packages and go to places where you don't have relations, world is dangerous.
You can take it as a joke or take it seriously.
Safe journey.
God Bless:)

CGLL, have a fun trip!! It sounds great--wish I could go with you, lol!! :) Get your passport and visa in order, obviously. Bring plenty of cash with you but keep it hidden in a good place and DONT flash it around for others to see. I have no idea what weather is like in Europe, but be smart--bring an umbrella, some light shirts and pants/shorts, and some heavier jackets, like a sweatjacket or something. dont eat anything such as meat or vegetables from roadside stands!!! You never know how long they've been sitting there with bugs crawlin' on them. Lol. Bring a book or something to read on the plane trip there and back. I would definitely do research and get your ducks in a row before going!! :) Have fun and be safe.
