Terrified right now.

It's 3:07AM and about 15 minutes ago I had sleep paralysis. I had one a few weeks ago, and one 3 years ago. All horrifying. But this one was a little different from the other two. Im not sure if I was awake or inbetween, but I do feel like I was using my spirit more than my body. Obviously because I was paralyzed and couldn't speak. But I felt myself getting up and then being shoved back down and I was calling out "Lord!! Jesus!!" In my head, and I felt my tongue move but no words came out. And the invisible thing with it's vile voice was mocking me. Saying something like Jesus this and Jesus that. I can't remember exactly what it said but I know it said Jesus but it was so mocking and hateful. I kept calling out and then I felt a sudden peace (but still a little scared), and then it came back quickly. I had to call out on Jesus a couple times (and the sudden moments of peace would come between the attack) and then the thing left. More like ran away or disappeared from me repeating Jesus name. The attack I had a few weeks ago lasted longer, and I even called out to jesus but not that many times like this one, and the thing never left when I called on Jesus the first time. This time it did. But I feel so weak when this happens. It's so powerful and scary. Why did this happen? Almost every night I pray that jesus protects me from this. I notice when I don't pray or when I pray half @ss, (sorry), this happens. Although it's only been 3 times but 3 is enough. I'm so scared that I don't want to go back to sleep :/

And that vile voice is always the same voice. Out of the whole experiences, it's voice is the worst. It terrifies me to the core.

1 John 4.4 says: 'Greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world'.

You can be awake or asleep, and rest in this glorious fact.

Satan has been defeated....

Something like that happened to me when I came back into church back in January. I woke screaming writhing my spirit I rebuke you Satan get thew behind me and I was able to go back to sleep. Pray over get victory from it. Satan can not harm a child of God

That's crazy. I actually had similar experiences. I first had sleep paralysis at 18 years of age and the last one was awhile back, but I remember how consumed by fear I was. When I went over the times that the sleep paralysis occurred, I realised there was a pattern. During those times, I had allowed a certain kind of sin back in to my life (which started at 18) and was even something I stumbled with afterwards as a newly converted Christian. Secondly, each night when I went to bed before I went to sleep, I was usually in some state of fear about being alone. One specific time, I did hear a voice, very much described as you said, screaming, 'I hate you!' over and over again.

I believe the best thing that has helped me is resting and trusting in the Lord. Don't be consumed by fear, do not situate yourself so you are 'glorifying' the powers of darkness, fix your eyes on God and remind yourself of the victory already at hand. Remind yourself that God is above all and that He rules and reigns over the enemy. Like the others said, use the Word, read the word and insert it in to your heart. There is a reason why you are being attacked, don't give the enemy the satisfaction of tormenting the children of the most high God. The enemy should be trembling and rendered powerless under your feet, as a child of God, you have that authority. Exercise it.

2 Timothy1:7 "For God has not given us the spirit of fear, but of power and of love and a sound mind."

Its a demonic attack...
And what you experienced is something called half sleep experience or experiencing the spirit realms where your soul is awake and not body.This could be Good and bad.But what you experienced here has an ultimate good,so don't worry too much.
The demonic entities/evil spirits in your locality has become aware that you are trying to stand for God no matter what.So they are trying to weaken you so as to make you backslide when you are weak sometimes..
Don't give up..Pray more and keep your cool...
Take Prayers in your Church or Fellowship seriously.In time you will see how Holy Spirit attacks them back..This is spiritual warfare,and this experiences you have does show that Jesus Loves you and have a mission for you in Christ to be finished in spiritual realms.Yield to God more and Pray to God to Strengthen you more.He will take care of the rest.
Do not entertain such half sleep situation by yourself.submit yourself to God.God is Love.He knows best.
Meditate on Holy Scripture when you go to sleep.Especially portions where Crucifixion of Jesus is mentioned..
Read Psalms 91,Hebrews 11,etc.
Read Book of Romans at times you feel cast down.
God will Strengthen you.Don't panic too much.
He will build you with Care and make you Strong,just be Bold on your decision to follow Christ no matter what,even if you are cast down because of life situations.

Be aware this is the God,the Loving Father we Serve,..its a Blessing to be Loved by such an Enduring Almighty God who cares for us and more eager than us to meet us in Heaven as His Heavenly Children.
satan cannot stand before this Power of God.
