Hi there,

I am trying to remember something to share with you, something which helped me at the time I heard it.

'Faith', 'Hope' and 'Experience' were walking along a wall.
Hope was fine as long as he kept his eyes on Faith
But when he turned around to look at Experience,
Both he and Experience fell,
But Faith went steadfastly on.

That's it! We are so often taken up with experiences, and feelings, and can be shaken when neither are in evidence. Yet this life, 'in Christ' is one which is entirely one of faith. We believe what God has said concerning His Son, our Saviour, and we trust Him to do what He has promised in His Word.

That is the only way to be at peace, regardless of circumstance or the way we may feel, for feelings are so fickle, and circumstances can change in a moment.

May God's will be done both in and through us, for His Name and Glory's sake.

In Christ Jesus
Chris

'Standing on the promises of Christ my 'Head' (King)
Through eternal ages let His praises ring,
Glory in the highest I will shout and sing
Standing on the promises of God.'

'Standing, standing,
I'm standing on the promises of God.'

'Faith is the substance of things hoped for,
The evidence of things unseen'

Praise God for His faith-fullness!

Hi CWJ
I really like that little saying. I have never heard that one before. I will be useing that to glorify God in days to come. The truth is so strong. And what you just said is absolutely and unmistakably the truth. Amen sister God bless you.
