This is 1958 Billy Graham. An appropriate message for Good Friday. Though I'm not hot about his 'decision' emphasis, I am impressed of the serious tone compared to so many 'evangelists' today trying to make 'funnies', trying to be 'relevant' or 'looking cool'. Nope this is solid preaching of the Cross.
Happy Good Friday!!

Love it! It's really awesome that Billy emphasizes that only Christ can save, and by the cross and the empty tomb, not our works. The Heart of the Gospel as Jesus and the Cross is a central point is something that really needs to be emphasized with the greatest care. I really love how Billy tells the tough truth that the reason the cross seems foolish and repulsive is because it tells the world, "You are condemned because of your sin! You cannot escape hell by your works! You are incapable and need Jesus, the poor carpenter from Galilee." Love it! Love it! Thanks for sharing this!

Thanks so much for posting a video in his favour, sounds funny I know but most things I hear about Billy is to beat him into the ground. Great message.

Also, I liked where he said, ''Being a Christian will not be easy, it involves cross bearing''. A far cry from so many today chirping, ''Smile, God has a wonderful plan for your life''.
