Are you all familiar with the story of the 10 virgins on the day of the second coming with only half I believe being ready while the other half lack oil and are shut out? Is the world really going to be like this where people will be oblivious? I always imagine the end times being in some dark satanic world where Christians aren't in existence due to the issuance of the mark. This parable paints a different picture to me. Any thoughts?

Yes, I feel sure that many will be shut out. We are told that you will know them by their love. Do you see much love in the discussions about what scripture says? I have been told that the reason I am told that I am heading for hell is because the person telling me that loves me, and is doing that to show his love.

Many grab hold of a few verses, especially when they are after Christ was crucified saying that only these verses count because they come after the new covenant. By this, they say, God changed. If you change God, you have a God that is a new one and not real. God is the I Am, the same from creation to 2014.

Scripture tells us Christ changed many things by becoming what was only a shadow before, but the changes never changed the character of God as man says it did. There are many different ways to worship God that are acceptable. We are to go along with those who see differently than we do. But you can not change the character of the God you worship and still worship the true God. There are limits to what is acceptable. Food you eat, the day of your Sabbath, many things are permitted. Changing the characteristics of God is not accepted.

If people are to be known by the Lord, they are going to have to learn to Know the Lord.
