Smithswife, if you're still reading these posts, I want you to know I'm sorry you came in and ended up feeling that way. I wish I could find a way to reconcile you and those you are talking about - whoever they are.
How some people act when they are picking at each other and being sarcastic may have hit you wrong. I didn't have a lot of that in my family, so it was unfamiliar and even frightening. Once you get that they are joking, it's a lot of fun.
Try us again and see if things are any different.

Its the same old stuff just usually from different people.
You have your "one true church" people. Your "Judaizer and Legalist". Your "atheists". Your "insulter of intelligence" people. Your "universalist". Your "pre- mid- or post" people. Your "dispensational". Your "non-dispensational". Your "Calvinist". Your "Armenian". Your "sinless perfection" people.
Just wait a little while and the next round of people will be here.
Have you ever seen brothers fight? They can get nasty. But wait until someone who is not their brother tries to pick on one of them. You'll never see a more unified front than two brothers against a common enemy.

Even though this is a site for Christians all are welcome to share their beliefs maybe you can teach us something. We are a thin skinned bunch here at cc,self-taught, self-absorbed and Sabbath focused group of people who love to argue, fight, and prove points even that are pointless. Make sure you ask the same question at least ten times in any thread you start. If you don’t get the answers you want start another thread. The threads don’t even have to make since and can be foolish in nature. Note the more foolish the more responses.Dare we do something edifying it might change things. Lastly give advice and opinions often, stay away from scripture and if you do use it, distort it to the point it is powerless and ineffective. After all that is what cc is about right?
