I wasn't quite sure where to put this so I suppose Miscellaneous it is. I was just wondering if anybody could give me any advice about what to do if say, you have a coworker who is spreading lies about you and trying to sabotage you? Christ says to turn the other cheek but how far should this go? How should a Christian act in this type of situation? I always try to keep peace with everyone but it's getting ridiculous. Thanks.

well just because you are a Christian people sometimes think you are a mat to be walked on , clearly your coworker is trying to get under your skin . most places of employment have a hr human resource where you can file a complaint or if you don't have a hr the manager, regional manager someone in a position to deal with this, but make sure they put it in the record that you filed a complaint also i really hope you have been documenting in you own book , the days, time , who what & where. but remember God also wants us to stand up for ourselves ....

Not sure "turn the other cheek" applies to this situation............maybe more Scripture reading is in order?

In all honesty, I'm probably NOT the person you want to listen to concerning something like this..........sigh....... :)

I believe an appropriate response would be to go directly to the person involved and ask them to stop. You can do this in a gentle way. This may not be a Christian brother or sister, but using Matthew 18:15 as a guideline certainly can't hurt.

“If your brother sins against you, go and tell him his fault, between you and him alone. If he listens to you, you have gained your brother."
