I'm doing my Masters in Biblical Studies online through Liberty Baptist.

My daughter will be a senior at Trinity Bible College this fall.

She had an internship with the AOG this summer as a youth pastor. Which is her calling...

No.

You must attend a Bible College or Seminary or it doesn't count.

Having a child attending doesn't count either.

We will just be wannabes and posers until the day we attend.

I spent 3 years in Bible college just for my own personal education. It was enlightening and worth the time and money.

I looked at Bob Jones went I was researching, but it was too conservative for me. I ended up going with Liberty because of their online studies reputation.

I think it depends on what you want to study specifically and what degree (if any) you want to pursue. Then take a look at Bible Colleges and seminaries to see which one has what you want.

It doesn't matter that I am an ordained (yes!) pastor - it doesn't matter what denomination this happened in - it doesn't matter what studies I have done. What matters is that I am a part of the body of Christ and I now have a small little group meeting in my home (The Living Room) and it consists of people from many denominations who want to set that difference aside and just enjoy the presence of Jesus with us. We pray for each other, discuss the bible and how God has helped us to experience His Word, and learn ways in which we can be that living presence of Jesus to others. There is healing, there is encouragement, there is forgiveness, there is the flow of the Holy Spirit to each other. No denomination - just His presence.
