Today is a very low day for me. I surely would need a warm hug and a nice pat on my back.
Its unfortunate my kids r with me and they are looking up to me for love and comfort.
Do something to get this mom's spirit lifted.

Hi, everybody have their bad & good days. But the frequency of either does not matter, but how we react to it does.

Well, most of my motivation on my bad day are from the Bible. Here is a link

Just pray to God, cast all your anxieties on God, for He cares, according to 1 Peter 5:7

I'm curious on what do you meant by "It's unfortunate my kids are with me", I may not fully understand it but if you meant what I'm thinking, then I would just say that I'm from a family without a dad. But I, no, WE have our loving Father in heaven.

Look to your children for a lift. Play and be silly with them. They are a precious gift from God. Hugs

Don't look to people to lift your spirits, just look to the Lord...

God loves you with an everlasting love.
the ultimate in love and comfort.
Jesus hung naked on a cross in love for you.

i know it's tough in the trenches with the kiddos.
when i had a hard time, i reminded myself of a story one wife told about her husband's shoes.
he used to kick them off and leave them all over the house, and she felt exasperated at this behavior.

then one day she asked herself, what would she feel like if he were gone (dead), and those shoes were no longer strewn about the house?
after that, she joyfully picked up after him as it was a constant reminder he was still with her. :)

i learned to do that with the demanding times with the children. (still do, though they're adults and mostly gone from home).
picking up their toys with them, answering the questions, making the sandwiches, kissing the boo-boos, breaking up the fights...etc. etc., reminded me of the gift of those children.
led me to think of all the joy they bring to life.
made me so happy just to be around them.

i don't mean to belittle the difficulties of being a mom...it's hard at times!
but maybe let them love you...their love is so beautifully unconditional.
their forgiveness is so quick and final. ♥
my 6 kiddos have taught me so much more than i have ever taught them.

praying for you!
love,
ellie

ndune i know those days can be very difficult to pull yourself out of feeling low but when i feel like that i listen to Christian music which is wonderful for lifting you up ,but any music that you like or find that movie from the 1980's -1990's with bad special effects , i always laugh

but talking to God always help me because He will never judge or leave you, but there are anonymous numbers you can call for prayer i have called or even went to this web site and you can put a prayer request on there
this is my favorite i call this number 1-800-669-7729 silent unity ( you don't have to give personal information) i usually will give them my name and they pray for you for 30 days ,sometimes you just need to hear a prayer

please respond back on this site to let ALL OF US know that you are okay.... we care about you and i will pray for you this morning....

Its true. Kids are ever loving and they understand us more than we do ourselves.
It is the demanding times when they are in dare need of their basics and deep within one knows she can't provide that brings us mother's down. But God has been ministering to me during this hard time. I was reading the story if the widow and the oil, then the boy with 2 fish and 5 loaves and by Monday I found myself remembering the story if Moses where God was asking him what he had in his hands.
I am enjoying Gods love and presence in our lives so much that some hardships are watered down. God is good!!!

God loves you with an everlasting love.
