........ok, get a 'tatter, and a really, really sharp knife/slicer, need to cut the 'tatter into really, really thin slices.......heat oil to 350 degrees.........(your choice of oil.......I like Virgin Olive) use a pot or deep fryer, not a skillet........

drop in thin slices of 'tatters.......do not overload........they won't cook right........

when they turn "crispy light gold to brown" dip 'em out, lay them on something to drain excess oil, flavor as you wish.......

My choice of flavor is: 1/2 cup salt + 1/4 cup pepper + 1/4 cup garlic salt............put in a glass shaker.........and sprinkle liberally over the hot 'n' fresh chips........

There seems to be a controversy on whether Lay's Potato Chips are pagan in nature or whether it is just certain flavors. It has been agreed upon that Lay's Lightly Salted may be partaken without shame providing that the salt that is used is Sea Salt.

I believe that some of the byproducts in lays potato chips are the undesirable parts of slaughtered pigs so according to Leviticus you have committed an unforgivable sin whether they used sea salt or not and must be buried up to your neck and stoned to death.
