... a voice behind her. She wasn't sure as it seemed only a whisper that said, "How lovely!" She turned to see where the voice came from and spotted a butterfly flitting above as though it were attempting to hover around her. It so delighted her that she exclaim, "How beautiful!" and extended her hand toward it, like she had seen princesses such as Snow White do. She really did not expect that it should even think to land there, but, to her amazement, it gently alighted into her palm and rested there.

Happiness flooded her entire being and she lifted it level to her eyes, hopeful that the gesture would not frighten it. She now was face to face with the enchanting creature, and she mused how one pets a butterfly. She decided against attempting such a thing as its wonderous wings seemed so delicate and even furry up close, powdered with shades of blues and golds. She fancied it must have come straight from heaven to her....

The SUNLIT day began and DEW covered the ground as he walked toward the one he loved, he followed the PETALS strewn on the ground knowing that she had left this very easy trail for him to follow. He knew that at the end of that trail was the love he FANCIED.

At the end of the PETALS there she stood his beautiful Blond, as he came to her he reached out and took her hand, looking into her gorgeous green eyes he bent over to kiss her. She was BREATHLESS as his mouth CRUSHED hers with hot KISSES. He then stood back again looking into her eyes and said What are you doing for the next 30 years? Would you please be my wife I just can't live without you? She replied.............

The YACHT was pitching to and fro in the waters of the GULF OF MEXICO as there was a storm approaching. The skies were growing darker and the horizon lit up from a massive lightning strike. The tourist leaned over the side and pulled up a FISHNET to see what the catch of the day was. DOLPHINS swam playfully around while he hauled the net aboard. The WAVES were getting more violent now because the storm was getting ever so closer. In the distance a lonely FOGHORN blasted away, warning the watercraft that were plying the waters. It was possible that one or two would not be coming back to shore except in pieces of jetsam. “What’s this?” the tourist said as he landed his catch. Now, he was not really living in a fantasy land so this was not a mermaid. “Oh, it is a woman” he said as he hauled her into the boat. “What are you doing swimming in the sea? Who are you?” he asked her. He helped her out of the net and she was now standing on board. “I am a blond” she said sweetly, “And who exactly are you?” The boat rocked from the waves and she was thrown into his arms. “I am a just a tourist on a little pleasure cruise. Come inside and dry off” he said to her pointing to the door that led to the cabin below. He led her inside holding her hand. He got her a towel to dry off, starting with her beautiful blond hair. “I have to go topside for a few minutes and do less important things.” She looked a little sad. “Oh, you are not going to abandon ship are you?” He was climbing the steps and turned around and said “No, but someone has to steer this thing or we are both going down with the ship”. A few minutes later the yacht shuddered as it struck a sandbar. He let the anchor loose. Later, they were walking on the beach and grains of SAND were in their toes. The PALM TREES were swaying from the increasing wind. Tied to two of the trees was a HAMMOCK swinging back and forth. The entire sky lit up with a thundering crash. “Tourist,” she said pointing excitingly at the dazzling display. “Those are God’s FIREWORKS in the sky!” He took her hand and they walked a little more stopping at the hammock. “I am a little tired and I think that I will take a little nap. Would you care to join me?” Hurricane Darlene had finally come to shore. And then the rains came and it was torrential. It was the eye of the storm and this was really heavy weather.

... Umbrellas would be of little affect in this tempest, so it was a good thing the blonde was a mermaid and didn't mind the precipitation. The Cheerio's, however, were beginning to get water-logged and look like mini marshmallows, which and only brought to mind a hot cup of cocoa, but there is no room service this far out. There was no sense in trying to navigate the waters in this storm, so tourist set out to see what he could forage. He returned with a coconut, a banana, and a pineapple and whipped up a virgin pina colada. Using the banana in place of a ukelele, he serenaded his enchanted muse with a rendition of Rock Me Baby. It didn't matter if a blizzard came, all was good in the God's gracious gifts.

The PLASTIC SPIDER RING reminded her of a frog ring she had purchased at a Pier1 store some years before as it lit up when you pushed the belly amusing her curious cat. She timed the cat with the STOPWATCH to see how much time would pass between pounces on the lit spider ring. The ELEMENT of surprise the cat showed was amusing as the REFLECTION of the lit spider ring was seen on the sliding glass door. BEYOND that door was a CHIMNEY out on the porch that went up the second story to the roof. She really needed to get it cleaned before the next winter for those cozy fires. She was so sick of the MANUAL GREETING she had to give at the FUNNEL CAKE store every time a customer walked in. But then she was a Blond with ADD she would soon be distracted and forget about it.

Viola played the VIOLIN and Rupert was a CADDY down at the local golf course as different as they were their love won out. They had met on an internet site and the LIST of posts that Rupert had made was long however, those posts interested Viola. His post ROSES or Not had really caught her attention so she sent him a MESSAGE asking him if he would give her a PREVIEW of the next installment on the thread.

Rupert quickly checked out Viola's PROFILE and knew they were meant for each other noting that her wish list included a trip to the ARCTIC where he had always wanted to go and he also noticed her favorite canned pasta was RAVIOLI which was his favorite also. He called her up and invited her to dinner at his place. They talked for hours about many things then they went out to a build a bear store and together they began to STUFF a bear making him come to life all fat and furry he even looked a little like Rupert. Viola sighed as it was a sweet reminder of a great date and their life together that was meant to be.

As TOURIST walked into the KINGS CASTLE he was surprised at all the RANDOM things that he saw. There was a PINK ELEPHANT in one room very hard to miss as it took up a large portion of that room. Well he thought the Blond has been redecorating I will have to speak to her about this new theme.

Looking out the window down on the GROUND he saw his trusty STEED drinking water out of the MOTE. He was going to have to find a better way to keep this horse from escaping from the stable and roaming about the property.

TOURIST noticed the rose petals strewn about on the floor and started to follow them finding the Blond taking a nap. He noticed on the nightstand a big red HEART blowing rose scented BUBBLES. The Blond awoke as he entered the room and said hi Honey what did you think of the PINK ELEPHANT?

Tourist looked at her, smiled and said, "I think the it is bubblicious".

The SOFT kitten wrapped around her legs purring making her want to pick up Baby and take him to her RECLINER and sit down putting him in her lap. As she stroked his fur it felt SLICK and smooth the FIRE PLACE had a fire that warmed them both.

The next day Darlene went out into her GREENHOUSE which felt like a STEAM room but the plants were really growing great in the heat and soon she would have to take a load over to the local nursery.

She got on the COMPUTER to see is she could buy a greeting CARD to send to her special guy as she had not written to him in a while and knew he was looking forward to more snail mail. Not wanting to disappoint she sent him a card which said - Missing you come home soon and put it in the mail.

Playing with the TOOTHPICK he broke it in half and tossed it into the trash as he reached for a BREATH MINT. He was pondering the trip out west first a stop in RENO and then onto LAS VEGAS where the wedding chapel waited their arrival. It would be November 27th the date they had picked out for their wedding.

As he went back to the kitchen he grabbed the SPATULA and flipped the eggs that were frying, he also put PINEAPPLE in a side dish wanting the tart fruit to top off the meal he was preparing the last breakfast before getting into the car to head out on this wedding trip.

Arriving at her townhouse he knocked on the door to get his soon to be bride and head out on the highway toward their LAS VEGAS destination. Stopping at a store to pick up a few snacks including CHIPS for the road trip they were on their way.

Once in LAS VEGAS they headed off to the Wedding Chapel and said their I Do's. Walking outside as MR. and Mrs. Tourist she asked one of the witnesses would you mind taking our picture? Here is the CAMERA we will stand in front of the Wedding Chapel for the shot and make sure the SUNSET is part of the background as it is a beautiful way to start this marriage.

The CANDLES, were lit on the CAKE as the party got started in VERMONT, in honor of the book that BLUE LADY BUG, had written. Instead of a book signing at a book store this signing was held in an ART GALLERY with her FAMILY in attendance.

Right outside the window of the GALLERY, was a red COVERED BRIDGE with PINE TREES all around it... The title of LADY BLUE's book was Just Don't BUG Me Cause I'm BLUE.....Tomorrow I May Be Red.

I had a feeling when I saw the words Vermont, bug, pine trees and covered bridge, that I would get written about on here..lol Thank you, Darlene, great story..



Let's see..this is gonna be a true story I'm about to write..lol


The exhausted blue ladybug has cleaning her apartment on her mind, because her landlord comes over on Tuesday for annual inspections. "I wish I had a storage shelf to organize all this junk," she thought to herself. The one housekeeping chore Lady Blue hates doing is sweeping the floors, so maybe if she opened her porch door and let in the October winds, it would do it for her. As she rummaged through a drawer for something, a whole bunch of change fell on the floor. She yelled, "I have too much stuff! It's so dang cluttered in here." Then she remembered that cleanliness is next to Godliness, plopped down in her chair and said, "I'm gonna relax and have my iced coffee first before I tackle this mess."

* the above story is true, except for the part about the change falling on the floor. That did not happen, although there IS a handful of change inside the drawer. LOL.
