Society makes it very hard to express those kinds of things. They are just probably not used to it. It happens like that with a lot of ppl at my church, even though my dad is always preaching against spiritual complacency. But they just don't seem to get what he is saying. It discourages him, but all anyone can do is be a living epistle. And be the change we wish to see in the world. Some people will catch on. It just takes someone sticking it out. Truth can be a hard but rewarding life.
It is discouraging. If your Dad is the pastor, tell him this for me:

It isn't our job as Pastor to change people....If the Holy Spirit can't convict them, nobody can.

But.... the good news is that as we remain faithful to God's plan & will, He will reward us for our faithfulness, whether others change or not. God rewards us for faithfulness, not results. If we warn them & teach them just as God desires, God is pleased with us. And oh, how good it is to know we please Him!

Imagine the rewards the OT prophets would have received if it was based on changed lives.... Jeremiah would still be weeping.;)

I've searched and searched on here for someone who believes in what I do. But all I find are people arguing with each other. Trying to use scripture to outsmart each other.

I'm so incredibly hungry to find another person who believes in the true living god. A person who trembles at his name and heart breaks at his sin. Someone who's eyes have been opened about this world and the word unravelling and speaking to them with such force. The spirit pushing them to repentance

I go to church and all I see is fakery, people going to have a good time. Serving a fake god and a fake Jesus and believing the work of the spirit is moving.

I want to change and grow and fall on my knees and lay my face to the ground in humbleness to my father. I don't want a show or a sermon excusing my sin and the sin of the congregation. There's no passion, there's no hunger in anyone.

Is there anyone here who understands?

I asked The Lord to show me who he really is, and the truth made me tremble. My eyes are opened. I see!!
I see my sin, I see just what a wicked heart I have without him.

I see the sacrifice Jesus made for me. It's so much more than you realise. It's more than just dying for mankind.

When I talk to people it's like they are blind.

Is there one person here?
Jesus said My sheep hear my voice an follow where ever I lead and it sound like you are one of His sheep. Keep listening to His voice and follow His lead. There are others of us out here and we hear His voice too.

I'm 32.
I'm so free in him, but I feel so alone in the world. I feel like I could burst because no one wants to talk with me.
Yes. That's it!! You are His!! Once my eyes were opened, it has become more and more narrow as I go. One time, I even prayed 'let this cup pass from me' when I realized that he was sending me to another country by myself. I was like, HUH? But what I realized, was that the path is narrow path, and sometimes we are on it completely alone, with only a passer by coming here and there just for a moment.
There is a remnant!
