In school there is a kid he is always depressed and sometimes he cries quietly in class. His parents are divorced and he loves attention. I was talking to him and i said its the christain thing to do☺️ i can't remember why and his response was "but i am not a christian" (he thought i was telling him its the christian thing for him to do something) and i said "well maybe you should be" i told him he should pray multiple times a day and that gid sent his only son to die on the cross and take away our sins. I told him how to pray and now it's a regular thing for him now havent talked to him in three months since. Will check up on him soon. Any advice?

Just keep doing what you're doing. Don't get pushy. Simply share with him as long as he's willing to listen. Let him know you're available to talk or pray. But don't try to force him. It may be your role to bring him to Christ, or you may just be the first step in his journey, planting the seed. Others may need to water it and see the end result.

Yep I agree with Ugly's response. Listen to him, he is a very wise person. :)

Hello and welcome! Yeah, good advice from Ugly. And that's great that you were there for that kid! Just be patient and a good listener if he needs to talk and keep sharing the Gospel with :) I'll be praying!

Also agreeing. It takes a lot of guts to share the gospel with someone and sometimes it gets awkward and sometimes it's hard to say if what you said did anything. Don't worry about it God will do the rest. Keep loving him and caring about him that's all you can do.

Invite him to church and continue to remember to lift him up by name to the Lord. love, blessings, and Shalom.
