Degree: I am working on finishing my degree with a Bachelors in Interdisciplinary Studies with two cognates in Health and Social Sciences.
Work: I am a published author of about eight books, one CD, I write Christian song lyrics and occasionally the music that goes to the song. I also write poetry and I am a publisher, and an internet marketer.

Hobbies: I enjoy buying tax liens as a hobby. I also enjoy taking risks on the market with new and innovative companies when the stock market is not so volatile. I’ve had several serious injuries to my body so I do aquatics Physical therapy in the pool and hot water therapy in the Jacuzzi to speed the healing to the injured tissues. Sometimes I do it with Doctors prescription for pool therapy and between prescriptions I do it myself to help me stay more mobile. The last physical therapist I had also put me on a bike as my former physical therapist suggested so I enjoy biking sometimes too on a real bike. But I have to admit some of my worst injuries came from four serious bike accidents I’ve had between 2011 and 2012. The 2nd one I’ve never healed from.
About Me; I fell in love with Jesus in the late eighties and God put me in a very good church where I became deeply rooted in the Gospel Message and the Love of Christ. Six years later I found myself in the hardest trial of my life and that was when I found myself digging into the Old Testament books of Isaiah and Jeremiah.
That was in the mid-nineties. Between 2000 and the present I began what I call the Joshua Journey http://letshavechurchnow.blogspot.com/2014/08/the-joshua-journey-by-kimi-gerred.html from Joshua 1:7-8 I began implementing those two verses which lead me to the Ten commandments. I purposed in my heart to try and keep them.
I was already doing all of them except for two little bitty things. One of which was little white lies as I used to call them and the other was fornication. So I was challenged to get those sins out of my life and I determined to do so in my heart. Things started shifting and I saw God really working in ways in my life and I began hearing HIM with specific promises and direction. It was exciting!
I’ve been single for quite some time and I found the tool of evangelism as a great way to hold myself accountable after my best friend Mother Nell Summers died in 2004. I had practiced the Sermon on the Mount “What Would Jesus Do” lifestyle since the very get go after I was saved but when Mother Nell died I began witnessing about the Bible and Jesus almost every waking moment when I was in public. Even if I was just driving through a drive thru for a cup of water I preached the gospel. As Mother Nell would say “the world was my pulpit”
