Hi my name is Shane Houston and I believe I got saved at about 4 years old. I'm 22 years old. I've heard that you need to be baptized in water to be saved but I believe that once you believe on the Lord you are saved. 1 John 5:1. I still need to get baptized in water.

I'm looking for Christian fellowship in my life and I think Skype would be a great medium for it. I certainly want to be a part of a Church if not a multitude of Churches but while I'm not busy there I would also like to fellowship with other Christians on Skype.

I've been reading the Bible a lot for the past year or more and I absolutely love scripture. Contact me on my cell phone at or email me at [email protected] or message me on here. I would love to fellowship with anyone on Skype.

The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

My Skype user name is SLHouston17

Hi Shane, it good to have you here.

It's never a good idea to give out your contact details here as they can be viewed anywhere on the internet not just here. A search will bring them up to all and sundry.

I believe the same as you in that you do not need to be baptised in order to be saved but that baptism is a great idea because it's a symbolism of dying with Christ and being raised with Him. Jesus Himself was baptised by John The Baptist.

A few things Shane.
First, sharing personal information in public, such as phone numbers, skype, email, etc... is discouraged and will be removed by Admins if they see it.
Second, the posts here can be viewed by anyone on the internet, not just users of the site.
Third, even still, not everyone on this site has good intentions.
Lastly, for a person to join the site and immediately try to get people off the site looks suspicious. Especially when you attempt to gain personal information, such as phone numbers.
If you are a respectable person then there is no reason to not get to know people first before attempting to talk with them off CC.
