A friendly hello and wave to all my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ and everyone!
I'm a Christian woman, married, in my 50's. I strive to experience the daily joy of our gift (life) aside from what it can and does dish out to us all. Being without family, I've always felt God in my life and the presence and guidance of The Holy Spirit - depite my own stupidity at times (lol). For the past several years I've been caretaking my husbands because of a lengthy illness, which Thank God now seems to be coming to an end. Praise The Lord! So we are hopeful and prayerful.
Things I enjoy are good conversations, some dangerous subjects (politics, religion), some basic subjects (psychology, cooking, health/herbs and such) and the simple things in life. Stopping to smell the roses, taking time to sit, think or just be, I believe, are very important to our human existence. And even though I try to incorporate that in my daily life, it, at times, is not as easily done as intended.
Basically I'm here to read, share, fellowship and possibly to make some friends, which has been lacking for a long time.
I look forward to... well, whatever this site has to offer and what I can bring to it as well.
