New and desperate.

My name is Megan and I'm new to CC. To be honest I came here to reach out to fellow Christians because of a crisis in our family right now.
I am asking for prayers for an incredible woman named Laura. She's in the hospital now having just given birth to her second son when things went wrong and she is now in a coma. There is swelling on the brain and her organs are shutting down. The only hope we have is Gods grace. Please pray. She is a mother and wife and daughter and sister who is very much loved and needed.

Gracious heavenly father we co. Lord me to your throne of grace and pray for laura, Lord you know she is in coma and there is sorrow and grief in the family. Lord bring her out of this pit of coma,give her a new life to praise and glorify your name . Let there be your presence and peace with everyone in family.in Jesus Holy name, Amen

I apologize tho for the circumstance of why you are joining at this very moment. If you ever need to talk I'm here, don't be to scared to start up a conversation with me and I will pray with you and just be there.

God I lift Megan's friend up into your hands. This is a very scary time and situation. I pray for this poor woman's family and friends as they go through such fear. I pray for her, I pray for her children especially her newborn child. God I pray that you would watch over and heal her, ease the pain and wake her back up. I pray your will is done in her life.

Thank you all so much for your prayers. They are a comfort and hope to our family. Laura has been given only a few days by the doctors. Please keep her in your prayers. If she's going to pull through it will be by Gods grace. Im hoping for a miracle but it's hard to be hopeful in these circumstances...I'm not sure how the kids will react if she passes but the oldest is already struggling with her faith and why this is happening. Guidance for her or advice I can give her would be appreciated.

Its a test. Who's report are you going to believe? Isn't his grace suffice enough? Just believe and you shall receive. Just put it all in God's hands and trust him.

I will keep her and her family in my prayers.

Being new to this site I am amazed at the out pouring of support shown. Thank you guys so much. Laura is still alive for the moment but her organs and brain have suffered damage and she is still in the coma. Her new baby son Bryan is healthy and happy and I can't stop from crying every time I see him. Him and his 1 year old brother need their mom so much as well as her older step children,please keep then in your prayers. I know God hears and I'm going to keep believing until her last. Please remember her and family in your daily routines. I am so grateful for the fellowship.

You're welcome here. I am praying for you all as well. I can only imagine how horrible this must be. I wish I knew what to say for your young friend in need of advice. All I can do is pray that God will give you the words at the time. Hang in there.

We come to you in your Son's Holy, All Powerful name Jesus Christ. We lift up laura to you and ask that you putting a healing Hand on her. We ask that you give The family Members and friends strenght to stay strong and not lose hope or Faith. We believe in you. We love you.! Thank you everyone for your prayers and support. The doctors haven't said what brought this all on. All we know is her husband found her unconscious in the laundry room and performed CPR until the paramedics arrived. She coded in the ambulance but they brought her back. They took the baby when they arrived at the hospital and he's doing fine. Laura is in a coma. Apparently the swelling on the brain was pretty severe and the organs were shutting down. There's been no improvement as of yet. I sat with her oldest daughter today while she broke down because she was terrified her mom wouldn't see her graduate college or get married and have babies. Sitting with her I felt so helpless. I don't know how to help her children and her husband not only may lose his wife but she is also his best friend. In the face of all that I'm clueless as how to even attempt to comfort them. Please keep them all in your daily prayers and please keep praying for that miracle...

Father, Your will be done in Laura's life. I prayer You keep her and protect her from the enemy in Jesus' name. You are faithful, Lord and I thank You and praise You for Your miraculous merciful eternal love!

May the Lord Almighthy do His perfect will on Laura and, whatever happens, He keeps on giving attention to all her family and you.

Father, may your loving grace bring peace to this family. For when are no answers you are the answer and hope in ever storm. Oh great I AM become the needed healer to this mother and her family. Let her Come Forth out this coma and restore her to full health. Lord we keep all these things in your loving hands In Yeshua's name I pray Amen.

Laura passed away today. I don't understand why this happened, it seems so wrong. She finally had everything she wanted and was happy then this happened. She was an amazing woman and there were SO many people praying for her. Can someone explain why this happened? In my head it makes sense to say if it was her time it's her time but that just makes me angrier. Why was it her time? She had babies! People who needed her. It's so wrong.

I'm sorry to hear of your loss. We lost my sister in 2011 who also had children. I don't have all the answers, life has tragic moments that hurt so much, we must think of what we are given, and for the time it is given to us for it is all so very precious. Cherish the memories, be there for her children. Believe in eternal life because it is true and that means death of our physical bodies is not the end.. we don't see the full picture but I believe all things work out for the good, for light overcomes darkness, always..
