Hi all!!! I'm Heidi. I am new to Christian Chat. I became a Christian when I was 5 and unfortunately I didn't really know what it was to be a Christian then. Growing up I was in a Christian home, but I lost faith in Him. I hung out with the wrong groups at school, but then I also figured that if they wanted to do something "wrong" like drugs I'd say no and then I would leave. But, when I really became a Christ follower was when I was down in Tennessee at a Christian College. I was down in Chattanooga Tennessee on one of the mountains during the day and I looked down and I could see 2 of the other state lines when I was up on that mountain. And I said out loud, "Now I know why I NEED to follow You! You've made the Heavens and the Earth and there is no one else that could have Created This Beautiful scenery!!! Thank You God for sending Your Son to die on the Cross to save US from your sins!!" And I've been living the life the way I should have been when I was growing up!
