Hey Elsie. I just wanna let you know you're doing the right thing. God said Seek me with all your heart and you will find me. God isn't hiding from you. He's not playing hide and seek in the clouds lol. He loves you so much and the fact that you're making an effort shows He's working in your life. I actally just read this yesterday, The Bible says there is a time for everything, it's in the book of Ecclesiastes. Praise God for that. I know that it's really confusing. But don't worry, most people are. You're in a spirtual battle for your soul. The flesh contridicts the spirit so it's sort of hard to humble yourself before God. And sometimes that's why you have to breakdown to get saved. But don't fret okay? I promise you if you seek God's will in all you do He will direct your steps. Just keep your faith. God Loves You. And I prayed for you.

Hi Sweetie. Welcome. As a mom, when my children were little, I warned them against things like going near a hot stove, or running in the street without looking. They didn't need to understand why I forbade these things, only that I loved them and was acting for their benefit. In the same way, God is pretty clear that there are certain things that we are not to involve ourselves with, and you may be finding out the hard way why that is. I pray that you grow in knowledge and trust in God as a loving parent whose "no"s are for our own good, even if we don't always understand why. May He who kept you safe as you reached for the perverbial hot stove, guide you back to a place of safety which you will never stray from again. God bless!

Praying for you too, Elise, and I hope we can encourage you in this time. Sometimes with all the stuff around us and in us it can be hard to come back to God or come to God, even when we're already with Him. But He's bigger than all of it. And he runs to us when we come back to Him. And he is overjoyed. I'm glad you're coming back
