Welcome!! Yeah, that is sometimes a question I struggle with it too. I think sometimes it helps to not think too much. Which of course is advice easily given and exceedingly hard to follow (I know I have trouble with it). But sometimes with trying to figure out which way to go, at least for me, it sometimes comes because I get in a panic having to know that I am doing the right thing for God. And it's good to have that as your primary desire, to do the right thing. On the other hand though sometimes I get so caught up in trying to take control that I forget to trust that God isn't going to let me down. If I put my trust in God and I want to make it my goal to please Him he's going to do His good in me wherever I go. It's the scary thing about faith, letting go. It isn't just about effort, it's about trust. He isn't going to let you down. Promise.
