Dear Brothers and Sisters, what does it mean to pray continually? To me I find along with daily prayers, when a thought comes into my mind, I analyze if it is good or bad. If it is bad, I go to Our Lord Jesus and ask Him to take it away.


How many times before did I follow that bad thought to it's ultimate destructive conclusion? Far too many, with bitter results, until I realized that the practice of continual prayer (as I know it) could change my life.

We do not have to follow that thought of sin. We, though the Power of our Heavenly Father can stop it in it's tracks, and live the life God has planned for us.

I pray that each of us will be given the gift of overwhelming faith in Jesus, and wisdom to know and practice the awesome power of continual prayer.

May each and everyone of us know the joy of walking in the power of Jesus Christ, this I ask in His Holy Name, amen.

You ask what it means to pray continually. Well, another way to put it is to “walk with the Lord.” Be aware of his presence at all times and be in communication with him at all times. Don’t say, “Amen,” to a prayer and then forget about him. Keep him in your thoughts always. Listen to what he is telling you always. Pray to him always. Don’t stop. Well, you have to stop to go to sleep. That’s about the only time, though.
