Hi all,

My name is Lucas. I'm a 24 year old guy working on his Master's in Marriage and Family Counseling, and I have a heart -- albeit feeble more often than not -- for Christ.

I ran up across this site while searching for a Christian oriented forum. In a sense, I'm like a refugee from another forum that was oriented toward supporting those going through separation and divorce, as my wife left me back in February 2014 -- exactly a year ago. But, the last time I did anything on a forum like that was shortly after she left, so technically this is my first foray into looking for a forum since then, haha.

I don't really have any specific aim here except perhaps to talk to fellow Christians who are either going through the same thing, have gone through separation / divorce at some point or another, or can do a really, really good job at empathizing. :p And of course talking about what-have-you other than all that stuff.

The other reason I'm here is in hopes that I might be able to "promote" a blog that I've got up and running (that I wrote of my own volition and is unpaid, for admin record) that's designed to help support those who wish to remain faithful to their vows beyond separation. It is founded on Biblical scripture, but I've been working hard to keep it targeted to the general public, and not just the Christian demographic. It's but one way to potentially lead others to Christ without forcing hands or throwing hatred.

If you would be interested in checking out the blog, click the link, yo: http://vowsbeyondseparation.wordpress.com

I'm also working on a Facebook page, but I want to see initial reactions before I go throwing out any of that information. I've searched long and hard through the site FAQs and posting rules, and I haven't found anything against this. But, moderators, if you see any issue, moderate away.

Aside from all that, hello all, I hope I get to meet some cool faces -- er... user IDs, I guess. XD *bows courteously*

*curtseys in return* Welcome! It's an honor to be part of this step. There are a lot of people going through those things here that I'm sure will appreciate your support and would be more than willing to give support as well. I hope you like it here!
