Hey there. I am looking for fellowship and encouragement. I am recently separated from my wife, and am having a very difficult time being alone. We've been married 31 years!

I'm sorry to hear that. Maybe through a lot of faith and prayer you marrage will again be rekindled. The devil comes to kill, steal, and destroy, but God has the power to heal.

Thanks for the kind words, but I think we are toast. It's my fault - sin. Shes filed the papers, and we are heading to Christian mediation. God is capable of the miraculous, but I don't deserve to be married to her.

My problem is overwhelming loneliness. I have never lived alone.

I probably don't deserve to comment because I have never been married; I've never loved and lost. But I have been alone my whole adult life and when I feel especially lonely I try and get connected to a church/ bible study/ ministry for companionship and support. When I deal with the problems of others, my troubles seem to fade away. Truth be told, when I get my heart and mind set on Jesus then I feel no loneliness. God be with you, brother!

True - thanks for the reminder! I am in a new church to give my wife and daughter some space and trying to get plugged in to fellowship. I have been blessed with great buddies who give me loving kicks in the rear. Its just gonna take time to work thru the consequences of my sin.

Yes sir, the sin can destroy us. I admire your honesty and humility. There aren't many men who will admit their shortcomings and I see it as a sign of strength in your character. May the Lord bless you and keep you firmly in His will from this day forward!

Good morning, andyK!

Welcome to the chat room...much like glenwood74, I admire your honesty as well. Please know you're not alone walking your path in this life...God is always with you and will guide you, if you let Him.

I wish you and your wife and daughter blessings and peace in this difficult time. I'm sure the recent separation can't be easy for any of you.
God Bless you, and I'm glad you're here...

:)
