I'm in desperate need of a job. I didn't graduate high school, I never had a job, I don't own a vehicle nor do I know how to drive..... Everything's just a mess right now with me. I know much of nothing. The only thing I have experience in is babysitting, hair styling, and somewhat of baking. Those are only what I'm interested in but I can't seem to get hired because people ask for too much. We all just need to help out others sometimes. I really need a job and it seems like I'm never gonna get one... Something that I enjoy. I tried finding online jobs but.... Nothing. I want to be able to buy my family here a microwave, washer and dryer machine, silverware, and dishes. I can't even do that. I feel like I'm nothing.... I'm useless. Why can't people just trust in me because I'm a great person always have been and always will. I want to be able to provide for myself and one gaol of mine is to help many families with clothes, food, shoes, toys, shelter, beds... ect. And to get as many kids as I can and teach them praise dance and about Jesus. Those are my dreams but I'm starting to think it'll never happen :( I don't know what to do. I need help.

Have you tried any place like the welfare office, not to get benefits, but they have programs that train you. My oldest son, was feeling like you. He went to a temp agency, as he had no real experience, and did not graduate from high school either. He is doing wonderful! I will keep you in prayer, and please don't lose hope, God will open doors!

What a wonderful dream you have  The Lord will surely honor your dream. Things may be rocky right now and all the trial and struggles you are going through are not in vain. Your dream is one that honors God and will tickle his heart but the enemy will likely try to make sure it doesn't happen which I have no doubt is what is happening to you right now, but you must give it all you've got and go into it with the will to never give in because you have the God of miracles by your side and he will give you the strength to fulfill your dream if only lean on him. Give him your worries and concers, I don't mean just talk to him about them but if possible hand them over to him and even more so hand over you entire life to him give him the power control and authority for what happens and how things go in your life.

When I became a Christian I told God I wanted to be strong but I had certain conditions that must always be held and enforced. It could never be about me and if we are to be strong together it could only be out of a love such as his own. However I did not trust my myself to uphold and keep these condition because I did not trust my own heart so I told him that I was handing over all the power control and authority to enforce uphold and keep these conditions for me I literal felt myself handing it to him and he has done more that a great job in keeping his promise to me and he will do the same for you:)

If you aren't doing anything, anyway, why not offer to work somewhere for two weeks, telling them that at the end of the two weeks, they can hire you (and pay you retroactively) or let you go on your way?

I agree with Willie here. Could you also go for your GED while working? It may help you in the future find jobs easier. Have you tried a local store, or maybe start your own babysitting business?

Well my mom wants me to attend my old high school so that I can get a GED free but I'm not sure if I want to and I know that I need to be I'm not smart enough. And starting my own babysitting business sounds like an amazing idea. I've always wanted to but gave up on it. I don't really know how to get started on that without having a license though.

A GED isn't good for much... BUT, having gone back to get one DOES say a lot to a prospective employer about your desire and tenacity. And most employers are really just looking for someone who is honestly willing to work and be steady and reliable. If they can find THAT in a person, most aren't concerned with a minor thing like needing to train you.

Thanks so much for sharing that with me. I thought I would definitely need a GED or high school diploma just to get a job that requires one.

I know a lot of people who got their GED...Many thought they were not smart enough, but they were. The one who did the best was the one who was a Christian....God wanted him to get that GED and the kid trusted God enough to step out of faith and believe God would be with him

BTW, lose the "you aren't smart enough." You already write much better than 40% of the adults posting on this forum. That, in itself, carries a lot of weight.

That's just about the right age. You have been hitting that stone wall long enough to lose your idealism, and to realize that it is very necessary to GET STARTED (NOW) on your career path in a serious way.

There are many things I'm still learning. I know that Jesus can do anything and I should trust in him more. I give up more than I should and I'm going to change that. I'm going to have more faith.
