Hello people

My name is Eve, Im from the UK. And I wanted to share my story with you.

So about 5 years ago I became anorexic and bulimic. My grandfather had died, who i was very close to and I ended up starting taking cocaine to stay thin and prevent the bulimic binges.

Fast forward 3 years of heavy coke use and I got drug induced psychosis, I heard voices inside my head which were telling me to kill myself. I acted on them. I took a huge paracetamol overdose and ended up with severe liver failure. I survived.

A year on, I am clean off drugs. I have a job, I have no voices, no symptoms whatsoever. I believe God saved me. The reason I stopped taking drugs because I had a dream that God wanted me to leave the city I was in and return home to my family (A bit like the prodigal son)

And look at me now! This is a miracle of Gods grace. I adore Him. He saved me and I know I can trust in Him. I have promised Him never to take drugs ever again.

So I thought I would say hello :0 )

Hello, you! :) Blessings from America! I'm Glad you got off of the nasty stuff. It must be very freeing to be in God instead of that dark place you were in before. Thank you for posting your testimony, too. It's uplifting to here a story of victory like that. Keep in the Lord no matter what, depend on Him always, and don't ever let addiction pull you back in. Not that I think it would, though, now that you've found something better.

God delivered me from a terrible life of buying and selling drugs as well. All I can say after years of not messing with that stuff anymore is that nothing compares to living an honest live in obeisance with Christ!
