As Christians, we need to grow spiritually every day, for sure! Keeping involved in a local bible believing and acting church family, daily BIBLE readings, walking in His Spirit...goes against what the world labels as being successful and fulfilling. I love your 'hanging out with the LORD makes me stronger" catch phrase! It needs to be a bumper sticker! lol

Someone said iin a post that avoiding porn for someone..it Wil pop up again.
So what can one do that it never recurs again.?
What practically?
I can do these:
1. Accountability. I already spoke to a friend of mine about this the last time it happened. He gave suggestions like
Keeping busy..
2. What else practically?

As the book will show you, just like in all of Christianity, it is NOT the outward things we try to do, or avoid, that make up who and what we are, but OUR THINKING AND BELIEF.

Many people on here like to ridicule Joseph Prince, but that is almost the entire premise of most of his teaching... "Right Believing Leads to Right Living." If you don't change your mind, your thinking and believing, (the actual meaning of the word, "Repentance") then you are doing nothing more than what Jesus came down on the Pharisees for.... just "whitewashing" the outside of a tomb filled with a dead man's bones.

Welcome to CC. This forum is ONLY for introducing yourself. Your OP is more appropriate for the Family forum, where all the other subjects of this nature are. I can ask a mod to move this thread there, if you wish. :)

Ricky1 if you are talking about watching porn on your computer then there are programs out there that you can place on the computer that will block all porn sites.

And if you have a friend or family member that you can trust to support you through this, you can have them set up the password and not tell you so that you can not by pass the program.

Sorry ricky1............

Had to respond to this, Joseph Prince is not rebuked unfairly.

He is reproved when what he says does not align with the Word of God as should be done, and his luxurious lifestyle is rebuked because the Word of God states exactly how a minister for God is to live !!!

Bear in mind that there is NOTHING you can do to keep "porn" from showing up all over the place. That jus' ain't gonna happen!

Jesus, quite often told of many things that will ALWAYS be in our lives here on Earth. It is not their existence that is the problem, but rather our perception and understanding of those things, AND of who and whose we are.
