Don't be shocked when reading the title. I am a christian and I love Jesus but what I mean in this title is that a big part of christianity transforemed into a disgusting religion that puts back people under the yoke of slavery instead of setting them free.

Is the free grace of God a motivator for sinning or threw it we experience real freedom
From sin? If we experience real freedom threw grace, why are you still trying to please god (struggeling with sin) and not rest on the fact that he is already pleased with you?

This is the section for introducing yourself. Since you are clearly bypassing that you should move to more fitting areas of the site for your posts.

Welcome to CC. Your OP is more appropriate for the Bible forum. New members forum is ONLY for introducing yourself. I will ask a mod to move this thread to Bible forum for you. :)

Without Christianity, there would still be Jesus, but without Jesus, there would be no Christianity.

Welcome to CC Paul!

I guess "Jesus" and "religion" are sorta synonyms in my mind. (Please don't get me wrong, if you're curious, ask, don't assume).

And one thing to keep in mind always, which is just completely amazing to me every time I consider it. FREE grace is the only thing in the world that is completely free, no strings attached, no hidden clause anywhere; and that FREE grace cost Jesus Christ and His Heavenly Father EVERYTHING.

God bless you!

thank you Tinuviel, yes and i agree 100% with you. I am not trying to attack the word (religion) in anyway. I was simply reading the word and this verse came alive. "romans 8:13 For if you live according to the flesh, you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the misdeeds of the body, you will live".
we will never be abel to put to death our body if we live according to the sinful law that resides in our flesh but if we live by the spirit and surrender completely to the grace and love of Jesus we will surely live and be victorious..

I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. I have found that when I fail to resist the temptation to sin, life becomes somewhere between unpleasant to extremely unpleasant. When I succeed in resisting the temptation to sin, life tends to be very beautiful. If you are telling us it is okay to sin, you are wrong. That isn't to say the Lord won't forgive a repentant sinner, but it is not okay to sin.

yep; but I don't think it's contradicting that verse to say that on this side of the grave we'll never be perfect. Christ is the only man who will EVER live a perfect life. :)

If you are a new born person, you hate the things of the world and live according to the Word of God cuz there's only two ways to do anything, and that's the right way or the wrong way,and that's one's way or God's way.Stay blessed
